The Wings would be glad to take Nylander in the early teens. Thanks, Craig!

Wow huge jump for pastrnak. Very interesting that Draisaitl and Nylander have fallen out of top ten. Huge jump for Fiala as well up to 34 who was not ranked last rankings. Extremely light on goalie in this ranking and extremely surprised to see that Thatcher Demko is not ranked at all (unless I missed him) within the top 90

Dal Colle remains my favorite prospect from this year's class. Awesome player.

Button often tends to over-rank/under-rank guys based on the WJCs when most agree that it's a bad tournament for ranking draft eligible players.

Fiala and Pasternak jumping up, while Draisaitl drops sounds exactly like someone who watches the WJCs religiously would do.

I'm guessing Button hasn't been out West for scouting much this season. How else to account for Jake Virtanen at #47, especially in light of ISS having him #9! Or Justin Kirland the only Kelowna Rocket on the list, especially over Riley Stadel or Tyson Baillie? John Quenneville not in the Top 60? Travis Sanheim over teammate Ben Thomas?

Roland McKeown falls in his ratings despite the fact McKeown has actually played a lot better since the last ratings were released, coming off winning OHL Defenseman of the Month in December. His offensive production has improved, while his defensive game has remained solid. Yet the improvements culminate in him dropping out of the first round?

Minor complaint, but where did Button get the height/weight for the players? Some seem really off, like Spencer Watson listed at 6'0". If Watson is 6'0" tall, then so is Brendan Gallagher.

I find it weird that Nylander is out of the top 10, since he got back to Södertälje he has scored 8 points in 6 games.

He's got the wrong Jack from Minnesota on the list. Glover and Dougherty and far better prospects than Ramsey, not sure what he sees in him.

Button's lists are generally a little off and good conversation fodder, but this one he's way out in left field...I don't think that other than the Malmo WJC he's been out of the TSN Toronto studios to scout draft eligible players this year.

I only think the CSS rankings have Ehlers low.

The rest ive seen have Ehlers in the top 10 or at least top 20.

CSS alwasy have weird rankings.

Goldobin 28th? Wow, i thought the best point-producer of the draft has to be rated higher.

Goldobin isn't as strong of a pick as his points suggest. It may be the one thing helping him hold onto a late top 30 ranking, in fact.

He's soft, weak on the puck, can't really make plays on his own - he's a PP guy that cashes in on good awareness and instincts near the net.

All that said, that is really good production to completely rule him out.

I feel like Button does a disservice to people who actually take the time to do it right.

usually tsn does it right. but this year is a little bite complicated for the different scouts organizations. we have 5 or 6 kids that can go first.

Atta boy Pasta, he's been absolutely amazing all year. Nylander falling out of the top 10 is a head scratcher though, they've both been spectacular ever since Nylander joined SSK, and to be honest, as much as I love Pastrnak I feel like Nylander has been the slightly better player.

Not to happy about his #pos now.

I was perfectly contempt to let him fall to the Nucks...

ISS has him 7 as well. WJC wasn't kind to him.

Especially considering Virtanen is on a total heater.

It's almost as if different people have different opinions on players.

Thatcher Demko NOT even in the top 90?! Unbelievable!!!

Sorry Craig but barring a significant injury Demko will be taken well before the end of the 3rd round.
