News on Mark Henry and Christian's return

- Mark Henry's return to WWE has been up in the air. He was expected to be back months ago, but when it got closer to his return date, his shoulder injuries and discomfort delayed things.

He is still expected to be back by Wrestlemania.

- Word is that Christian will be making his WWE return in mid-January, and is slated to be a part of the Royal Rumble. At this time, there is no word on if he will return as a face or a heel.

I agree ^.

I'm reminded of Christian orchestrating a beatdown of Abyss. Pretty badass and great acting. I actually felt sorry for Abyss. Apparently he needed 60 stitches in the aftermath. The hawker at :24 makes it.

Too bad for Henry as his character is finally somewhat entertaining and his title reign wasn't horrible as he developed nicely into a monster heel.

Christian needs to be a heel as well. The guy is just to entertaining being bad. Would love to see a Jericho/Christian reunion of some sort.

I don't know how Jericho is going to return, if at all.

Christian can be successful as a face or a heel --- but he needs mic time. He's one of the best in the business on the mic too. And he needs not to be booked like a completely incompetent heel. His whiner heel personality on Smackdown was okay (he made the best of poor writing) but chicken**** heel works better if they talk about how they are they best rather than whine all the time.

I'd freaking mark for the old theme and jumpsuit;

I'm torn on what I want Christian to do. If he comes back as a heel, we're all going to cheer for him anyways.

He's a better heel...he's got an arrogance about him that I like. Any good heel has the ability to be either an outright dick or is just too cool for the room and fans hate them for it.

Possibly the most emotional moment I've seen since watching the WWE, dating back to the early 90s.

That's a pretty neat moment; they're childhood friends and you can see the emotion in Edge's face watching the whole thing.

If Christian had a more respectable title reign, I'd have been a lot happier.

At the same time - his championship win meant so much more to me than most because he worked his whole career and finally got there. I hate that everyone under the moon are 3-4-5 or in the likes of Cena and Orton, 100x World Champs. It's stupid.

I'm loving this CM Punk title reign for the pure fact that it's a meaningful reign. It actually feels like he's a World Champion. When you had Cena and Orton and guys like that flipping the titles with Triple H and Bastista every month, it felt stupid. At least to me.

I love when the payoff for a match means something. That moment meant something.

Sucks that (to me at least) it seems like it was more of a favor / tribute to edge to give christian (edge's best friend) his first world title. That might not actually be the case but that 2-3 day title reign says otherwise to me.

One of the reasons McMahon is not uber successful is because of the lack of faith he puts in his wrestlers.
