Have you kicked the Chicago gm or did the computer do that to them? I find it hard to believe a CPU would leave a team completely bare outside of Toews and Miller when theres a couple decent free agents to sign that arent too old for a rebuilding team.
I can't believe my Edmonton team is performing as well they are this year. RNH has 77 points in 60 games. Playing 2nd line minutes behind Stamkos. Makes zero sense but I will not complain.
If anybody has a need for a cheap depth center, I have a couple. All I want is like a 3rd-5th rounder.
Austin Watson- 78 overall, 4th line twf center, 3 star potential, solid defensively and skating. Unsigned rfa
Johan Sundstrom - 77 ovr, 4th line pwf, 3.5 star pot, good def. & off awareness & puck skills. Makes under 900k then an rfa.
Joonas Rask- 75 ovr c, minor checking sniper, good off and def awareness & puck skills, makes 750k
Michael Latta - 79 overall center, 3rd line grinder. Solid in every category, only 3 stats under 80 (fighting skill - 75, faceoffs - 60, discipline - 75) with very good physical and defensive stats. 3.5 star potential, makes 2.3 million for 4 more years. He might take a 2nd to get though.

I'll take Sundstrom off your hands. Sent an offer.
Also, did you just send your best players down to the AHL to complete the tank job?
I accepted it, so Sundstrom is gone. And yes I sent my top 2 centers down and my best d-man.
Im already wayyy out of the playoffs, and the only way to get from the 3rd worst record to the 2nd is to out tank the Islanders haha. I figured I only have 20 more games to do it, and a 7 point lead over them so I have to go hardcore haha.

Doesn't look like theres much potential trade activity this deadline, so its probably safe to sim past it unless those two ^^ are working on something.

I was gonna sim this afternoon but i didn't see there trade so im waiting to sim tonight.
Since Joider is too lazy to post about it, I will:
Winnipeg is looking for a depth defenseman that can be had for a draft pick. Preferred overall range is 76 overall to 82 overall. His team has been hit with the injury bug and he is currently playing a forward on defense because he doesn't really have any AHL defensemen he can call up.
You can PM either him or me if you would like to propose a trade. He said he will check HF for PMs.
Shattenkirk (85, C) - Meszaros (85)
Gleason (83, A) - Faulk (82)
Stuart (81) - Murphy (79)
Ward (88)
Missiaen (82)
***Not the guy who plays for Ottawa IRL
Injuries
- Beau Schmmitz (80 overall D, powerplay specialist) has a broken leg, out 40 games
- Eric Wellwood (83 overall, usual second line LW) has an injured groin, out 3 more games
- Charlie Coyle (81 overall, usual third line LW and penalty killing specialist) has an injured hip, out 4 more games
So Buffalo managed to slip by Benny's Leafs in 7. I'm pretty sure Tavares and Ovechkin played 60 minutes a game... their point totals reflect that lol.
Myers went out of game 7 with a concussion and won't be back for 49 games.
My starting goalie was injured in the last sim of the season for the 3rd year in a row.
Predictably, the dominating Oilers struggled in the playoffs... but did manage to beat the 8th seed in 7 games. The point difference there was at least 30.
