Looking to trade Doan for a top 6 winger of similar value.

Also would be willing to trade Beauchemin for a top 4 DFD of similar value.

PM if interested.

Your Houston Hawks

FORWARDS
Jamie Benn ($5.500m) / John Tavares ($5.500m) / Jakub Voracek ($4.250m)
Ales Hemsky ($5.000m) / Derek Roy ($4.000m) / Michael Ryder ($3.500m)
Mikkel Boedker ($1.100m) / Patrik Berglund ($2.250m) / T.J. Oshie ($4.175m)
Gustav Nyquist ($0.875m) / Tyler Bozak ($1.500m) / Benoit Pouliot ($1.800m)

Great depth all up and down the line-up, every line poses a legitimate offensive threat, and none are slouches in the defensive zone at all. Size, speed, and skill is what this group was built around, and it's turned into what I think is one of the best forward groups in the competition. Benn, Tavares, and Voracek get together for a do-it-all kind of line, one that could see every player put up 70+ points with great defensive play and physicality. The 2nd unit is more of an offense-first line, but still has some decent defensive ability down the middle and can definitely score more than their fair share of goals. Boedker adds some insane speed and offensive talent to the bottom 6, while Berglund and Oshie compliment him nicely, giving the 3rd line a very well-rounded feel, being able to take control of the game in any situation. And even the 4th line is well above average, as all 3 players could put up 40-50 points with near-elite defensive ability. Hard to argue against an offense built as solidly as this.

DEFENSEMEN
Alex Goligoski ($4.600m) / Brent Seabrook ($5.800m)
Willie Mitchell ($3.500m) / Dan Hamhuis ($4.500m)
Andrej Sekera ($2.750m) / Philip Larsen ($1.025m)

Deep, skilled, and rock solid. Each pairing is built to play to every player's strengths. Goligoski can have his way offensively while Seabrook holds down the fort. Mitchell and Hamhuis benefit from playing with each other, both having amazing two-way games. And Sekera and Larsen are remarkable players for a 3rd pairing, able to take PP and PK time both. One of the deepest defense groups, you can't go wrong here.

GOALTENDERS
Kari Lehtonen ($3.550m)
Ondrej Pavelec ($3.900m)

Both moody goaltenders but both with elite talent, each goalie has the chance to steal a game every night. Having two starters, both very skilled, gives our team the ability to choose whichever goalie we want in net, and the internal competition is ridiculously intense, leading to better goalies and better results. While neither goalie is in the elite tier, both are close, and no other team possesses two starters of this level.

CAPGEEK.COM TOTALS (follow @capgeek on Twitter)
(these totals are compiled with the bonus cushion)
SALARY CAP: $75,000,000; CAP PAYROLL: $69,075,000; BONUSES: $37,500
CAP SPACE (20-man roster): $5,962,500

And this was all done with almost $6M left in cap space. Talk about a brilliantly built team.

Vote Houston Hawks!

Bow down before the might of the San Diego Coconuts!

Matt Duchene // Vincent Lecavalier // Dany Heatley
Patrick Elias // Patrice Bergeron // Alexandre Burrows
Brandon Dubinsky // Dave Bolland // Kyle Okposo
Tommy Wingels // Artem Anisimov // Chris Higgins

The San Diego Coconuts may not have the high-end offensive talent on their top line that other teams might have, but where they lack flash, that have excellent two-way play all throughout the line-up. Behind the big scoring line of Duchene-Lecavalier-Heatley, the Bergeron line features the reigning Selke Trophy winner, along with two of the best defensive wingers in the game in Elias and Burrows. The trio are also all great scoring players. The third line is centered by Bolland, the best #3C in the game, and he is flanked by two tough SOB's who have scoring pop in Dubinsky and Okposo, while Dubinsky is a second elite defensive shut-down presence to aid Bolland. By way of these two shutdown caliber lines, the Lecavalier line is able to be heavily sheltered defensively, and as a result can play almost exclusively in the offensive zone to do what they do best: score. The 4th line is centered by big Artem Anisimov, who is a jack-of-all-trades player who also has a great deal of offensive creativity. Higgins is a top-6 caliber player who can throw his weight around, and Wingels is a blossoming young Dustin Brown-type, with strong two-way play, physicality, and a rocket of a slapper. Together these four lines are a cohesive group who know how to play their roles, but who also can be counted upon to score in any circumstance.

Jason Garrison // Alex Pietrangelo
Niklas Kronwall // Travis Hamonic
Fedor Tyutin // Matt Carle

Big Alex Pietrangelo leads the Coconuts' elite defensive corps. He is complimented perfectly by his smooth, defensively excellent partner in Jason Garrison, who has a canon of a shot and can let loose all the passes Pietrangelo, who's more of a playmaking type, dishes. The Garrison-Pietrangelo pairing will be almost impossible to score on. The second line is a great combination of veteran and kid, although in this case it's the kid, Travis Hamonic, who is carrying the load defensively while his more offensively inclined partner, Niklas Kronwall, scores points with his risky but elite offensive zone play. The two form the hardest-hitting combination out there, and they're a nightmare to play against. The last pair features the understated Fedor Tyutin, a jack-of-all-trades type, and the smooth-skating, stretch-passing Matt Carle. Although they make up the third pairing on the Coconuts, they are a respectable 2nd pairing and can play in any defensive or offensive situation, as both players have the ability to bend to the situation.

Jonathan Quick
Antti Niemi

What needs to be said about this goaltending duo? Quick is arguably the best goaltender in the league, who owns a Conn Smythe Trophy, Vezina Nomination, and a Stanley Cup to boot. It is almost impossible to score on him. Backing him up is the inconsistent but strong Antti Niemi, who owns a Cup of his own and is perfectly capable of providing above average goaltending when Quick needs a rest.

Put that group together, and you've got a ton of mean mofo's who are nearly impossible to score against. A Selke winner, a Norris-caliber #1 defenseman, and a Vezina Nominee headline the Coconuts, but their depth sets them apart from the pack with four lines capable of scoring or shutting down the opposition and three perfectly constructed pairs who can excel in any situation.

Vote San Diego Coconuts for Stanley Cup

How's that for passionate plug? I feel awfully poetic.

The forwards still just don't do it for me, but god, I still can't get over the defense.

You can trade until the roster deadline, or when voting begins. There shouldn't be many trades at all, though, as I'd assume most people's rosters are set.

P.K. Subban ($4.000m) / Zach Bogosian ($2.500m)
Jamie McBain ($1.800m) / Lubomir Visnovsky ($5.600m)

GOALTENDERS

Niklas Backstrom ($6.000m)
Corey Crawford ($2.667m)

Vote Las Vegas for the Cup! We feel like we have four lines that can outbeat anyone, anyday. We have great center and wing depth and are filled with elite forwards from young to old. Our top pairing has amazing chemistry as Chara and Seidenberg play together in Boston. Our second pairing pairs up two elite young defensemen who were franchise Dmen on their previous team. Our third pairing has an elite offensive defenseman and a young, offensive defenseman that will provide goals. Our goaltending is strong, with two starters in the lineup. Backstrom is a very good goalie who will hold down the fort for this squad.

We have made a trade with donghabs.

We get: Marc Staal, Ryan Ellis, and Lars Eller

Dong gets: Dmitry Kulikov, Brandon Gormley, and Svem Bartschi

It really pains me to trade Kulikov but I feel I have enough offensive potential and really needed that physical minute-eating defenseman. We also love the offensive threat of Ellis. My roster will come soon.

It really pains me to trade Kulikov but I feel I have enough offensive potential and really needed that physical minute-eating defenseman. We also love the offensive threat of Ellis. My roster will come soon.
Confirm. I am happy to have added some good young players. 2 of the 3 players were on my list so to add them to my roster was great

Your Halifax Mooseheads

Evander Kane-Steven Stamkos-Corey Perry

Brett Connolly-Brayden Schenn-Mika Zibanejad

Dmitry Kulikov-Victor Hedman
Michael Del Zotto-Ryan Murray
Morgan Rielly-Brandon Gormley

Jacob Markstrom
Jack Campbell

Well After hours and hours of drafting this is what I was able to come up with. While they might not be good now in a couple of years they will be forsure
