Does anyone listen to Skrillex?

I ask this question because I've been playing skrillex in my car for the past week, and I've had 4 people ask me what station I'm listening to.

I'm hoping there's at least a few people know who this Corey Feldman lookin' mother****er is.

Some of his songs are catchy and good but others just make me scratch my head and say "wtf?!"

Captain Oveur: You ever been in a cockpit before?
Joey: No sir, I've never been up in a plane before.
Captain Oveur: You ever seen a grown man naked?

"I don't know Peter, Meth is a hell of a drug"

Either you listen to skrillex and wanna comment, or you give me your favorite quote.

No. Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Venetian Snares...Yes.

Skrillex is like the hair bands of electronic music.

For the first time, I heard Skrillex two weeks ago, and I liked it. I also like the other bands that show up on Pandora that go along with that sound. I've kinda/sorta delved into this sound, but I figured the most well known would start the conversation into better and similar sounds.

Thank you.

Bit of a difference between drum and bass and DUBSTEPPPPPPP.

And for the record, I have and continue to listen to both.

The Island is still one of my favorite tracks and Skrillex blows especially when compared to Deadmau4

Haha, just giving you flak, it's not the worst thing someone could listen to!! I mean, it's not "Frizzle Fry."

Ain't hipster, it's not my fault, when you get into the details of music software/hardware, you can eventually discern the difference between creating cool loops and/or actually doing serious composition. Programming, tracking, and composing incredibly new music with multiple layers takes a lot more than things that just sound cool on the surface. Yeah, "elitism" whatevuh, but you can't compare the rhythmic/melodic capacity of those guys with "Skrillex"...it's like a different universe.

Oh, and AUTECHRE. nuff said.

I'm starting to hatefully judge everyone who uses the word 'hipster'.

Those guys make great music. Why should anyone 'get out of here'?

Yeah gotta agree, but it is a tight race between Propane Nightmares and Witchcraft on my end

Some of his songs are decent.

Kill the noise is in Vancouver right now. Wish I went.
