Whitney is better right now, Not many players can score 77 points as a 40 year old. Lucic will never even be close to those numbers, although, I think he has more value easily.

i went with Lucic. it's close for me and obviously i am bias but i watch Lucic a lot and he brings so much to the game besides scoring. the numbers whitney has put up as an older player are very impressive but Lucic is so unique, not another player truly like him in the league imo, and overall i would take him over whitney.

Lucic, even though Whitney had more impressive season.

Why is there a tiebreaker poll when Lucic had more votes in the original poll...?

If this was Selanne vs Lucic I would expect a landslide win for Teemu, who doesn't bring any more "intangibles" than Whitney.

Whitney. 40 years old and still putting up big points.

Ahh the classic HF forward debate. Point production vs. intangibles. Hopefully the former (Whitney) will win out this time.

Lucic won the previous poll by a count of 13-12 over Whitney. It was too close to say that he was the better left winger.

Lucic. He brings so much to the table. He can score, hit, fight, he can do almost everything and isn't afraid of anyone

Good call. I hate when people who are making polls don't do tie breakers if it's close.

But if the poll in this thread stays as close as it is, you might as well just do a 12a and 12b.

So if you beat me by only 1 tenth of a second in a sprint we've gotta do it again because it was too close?

This poll has no reason to exist.

Uh, no. Neither of them can (Lucic) or have come close to (Whitney) dominating a game like Hall did at the age of 20.

Oilers Forward Deployment Results

Taylor Hall is really, really good

I think these tiebreaker polls are good when the results are close. In polls like these, we can afford to redo it.
