He was good, scored 2 goals and scored the GWG in the shootout. He was a winner today, he was playing his best in the toughest of situations.

Scored twice in the game and was the only one to score in the shootout.
Good game for him, second best Finn on the ice.

Didn't get up in time for the game. Saw Richard had an assist and was a beast in the circle as normal. How did he look?

The Swiss penalty after their 4-2 goal was beyond stupid, that probably cost them the game.

That little Swiss moron sat in the penalty box
laughing after having injured a player. It'd be pretty sad if the injured player's team didn't get energy from something like that.

You didn't really deserve to win, based alone on the fact that when you got the lead, you just started to protect it by dumping the puck and not much more. One should never do that when clinging to a narrow lead, you voluntarily let the other guy take the driver's seat and even toss 'em the keys with a smile.
I've seen Finland do it enough times and the result is almost always the same - the other guy rallies and finds the way to beat you.

A little bit late but am I the only one who thinks Sean Simpson looks a little bit like a Klingon from Star Trek?

Seriously, lead in two huge games and you choke. God damn it. No you need so much help.
They need an OT loss, at the very least, versus the Czechs (and a Finland loss in regulation).
Or a regulation win, coupled with anything but a Finland regulation win.

When they outplayed the big teams in the pre tourney I thought Finland was gonna be walking in the park.
I guess I was wrong.
