They've started playing again but are yet to sort out all penalties.. 8-4 now, just wow..

Griffins lost 5 guys, Rockford 8.

It was absolutely ridiculous. Rockford had all players on the ice + guys jumping in on the ice to fight. Literally happened in a matter of seconds. Hutton went full flight over the ice to fight Mrazek. I saw at least three suckerpunches. There's gonna be some serious suspensions and fines after that.

Callahan gets the hatty(very well deserved) and Griffins set a franchise record with 11 goals in a game.

Tatar with no points in a 11-6 win, how does that happen.

He was ejected after the brawl. Although Griffins had scored 6 goals by then too.

Beach and Brookbank just prove themselves to be bigger pos dirtbags every time the Griffs play them. I really hope Beach has something coming for him after the crap he pulled, much like the entire NYI team bullying Talbot in 10-11.

Man I wish B. Smith was still there just for that game. He would've destroyed some of those dirtbags. I honestly wish Rockford would get suspended for the year. I don't feel like losing Gus or Tats because some no-skilled dirtbag goon from Rockford takes a cheap shot. Every single game they're parading around like its a goonfest.

Yeah, I see Kyle Beach is still a POS. **** that guy. At least he looks like a bust of a pick for the Hawks, not much for an 11th overall pick.

Rockford and Grand Rapids coaches also had a small confrontation after the second period ended.

Sheahan got his butt whooped, as did Mrazek. Good and bad the Griffins jumped off the bench to save Sheahan since the ref clearly couldn't.

I want to know who the first Griffin was to jump off the bench. Who ever it was deserves all the respect in the world. Shows they put their team before anything and that's a great attitude to have. Gotta respect guys who are willing to pay the price for jumping off the bench to save their team.

If I'm GR I sign 5 goons to play the next game against Rockford and just let 'em do work.

Gotta love Mrazek going at it, that guy is awesome. Is Sheahan OK? He was very slow about getting up off the ice.

I agree completely. The way Rockford has played against them all year they actually should.

I cant beleieve that joke of a hockey team. Beach just pounding away on a non fighter, that Mcardle guy suckering guys who are already involved with someone and double teams all over the place. Looked like Grant and Callahan kinda flipped which is good. Big win for the team too but GR should really consider some hired guns for the next game with them

Kyle beach is a ****ing *****

I don't wish that on anybody but he did get the game misconduct so he could not come back. As angry as everyone is with him, if he collapsed that is pretty scary stuff.

Looking forward to watching this game this afternoon. Was very busy yesterday didn't even watch the Wings home opener for the first time that I can remember. Sounds like that wasn't a bad thing.

However, not surprised from that video that this is where Rockford choose to go. They are a team full of thugs, you want to get those Beach type players but unfortunately that isn't they choose to go about it. So while you say that, the lesson won't sink in. What they should do in the next game and I am not a big fan of this but over the course of games they have asked for it. You send Evans and Callahan after their skill guys. Although to be honest they don't have many left, that team is pretty terrible. But I guess I send them over right off the bat on Clendening's first shift and go get their rookie blueliner.

I there going to be some suspensions for the IceHogs? That kind of dirtyness just can't continue in every match.

I would assume so, just finished watching the replay. I would think that the Rockford coach should also be suspended as that was the clear intent. They were put out there to go get some people. On the flip side Grant really got Beach after, did the same thing to him that he was trying to do to Sheahan but with bigger results in that Beech looked injured on his way off and was bleeding.

Tatar also did crunch Clendening would be surprised if he didn't pick something up in the injury department as he didn't look like he was doing all that well either after they were seperated. Assuming Sheahan is alright it would appear the Icehogs attempt to launch their usual dirty tactics backfired in a big way. They should get some healthy suspensions, but I don't think Beach can even start serving his until he is healthy enough to play.

My guess is Brookbank is looking at 5+ games as he really took it to another level.
