Kane if I'm being unbiased, but I think I'd prefer Eberle due to intangibles.

Realistically Kane is the most proven and the most talented. He hasn't been at his best recently though. Eberle is obviously a stud if he can perform like he did last year every year, but we'll have to see about that first. Benn brings a lot aside from just offense, which he brings plenty of, but if Kane is performing at his best and Eberle maintains last year's pace, Benn is still third for me. I voted Kane based on ability.

I went with Kane. Most proven. Eberle needs to show he can perform like last year consistently.. and if/when history repeats itself, he'll prove doubters wrong. Benn doesn't have as much high-end skill.

Benn. Kane is the best player, but I don't like his attitude and I wouldn't want to build my team around him. I prefer a center over a winger for building a team. Hence Benn over Eberle.

Kane because he is the only one who I see having that superstar 100 point potential.

How exactly do you figure Eberle is that much lower than them?

He outscored both Kane and Benn by a significant margin last season, which was only his 2nd full season in the NHL, doing it on one of the worst teams in the league.

Eberle doesn't have the benefit of playing with Toews, Sharp/Hossa, and its pretty easy to assume his point totals would be even higher with this caliber of linemates.

Also his overall game is MUCH better than Kane's.

To say he's that much lower than the other two is ignorant at best.

1. Kane - Proven 88 point player
2. Eberle - Biggest upside out of the 3 IMO
3. Benn - Physically built like a ox and hard worker but least skilled of the 3.

Kane's a question mark. He has talent but girls finally like him so he might get distracted and party too hard.

I'll take benn.

Benn
Kane
Eberle

Albeit they're all VERY close. I chose Benn because he's moving to centre, shows a great two way ability, is gritty, has a great attitude, is seen as an underdog because of his draft position and he's from my city.

Kane has all the skill in the world, whereas Eberle has a better attitude and "clutch" ability than Kane in my opinion (before someone brings up 2010 cup final). Its a pick em in my opinion.

You're honestly putting Eberle's upside higher than Kane's? That's a joke.

I'd take Patrick Kane every day of the week. I'm not Kane's biggest fan but I'm ****ing sick of seeing "intangibles this" and "attitude that" when Patrick Kane has won a Stanley Cup and is easily the most talented of the bunch.

Benn/Kane, chose Benn.

Eberle's unsustainable shooting % and soft minutes leads me to believe he will never touch this type of production again.

But yo, there's a center in the poll! We have to take him!

I wouldn't call someone ignorant, when you're completely ignoring Eberle getting most of his minutes with Hall and RNH. And ignoring Kanes off year last year when he's already scored 88 points in the NHL, and lets not kid ourselves, Eberle does not have MUCH better overall game then Kane, Kanes defensive liability are completely overblown, especially by the people who don't watch hawks games.

I don't agree with his ranking, but I completely don't agree with your reasoning either.

Benns low hockey IQ leads me to believe he'll probably never have a ppg season.

I don't really see how you can justify not picking Kane. He's not significantly better than the other two, but he's clearly the best of the three IMO.
