Nhl prospect rankings #1

With the IIHF U20's rapping up and most posters getting a good look to see how some players have progressed or regressed since the start of the year I thought it would be a good time to try doing a HF Prospect Ranking again.

I will start at #1 with a group of 10 players and expand once we get past the obvious selections (eg top 5)

Please do not be biased in your vote and actually pick they prospect that you believe will be the best moving foward.

If no one wants to do it let me know and I wont,

Tarasenko shows all qualities of a great player on the highest level.

Edit: can't believe another failed WJC didn't affect people believing in Yakupov.

Still Yakupov even after the failed WJC.

Yakupov is 1 point shy of Tarasenko's point total in the KHL after being drafted, and that's in 20 less games. Obviously Tarasenko's emergence was a little more of a surprise than Yakupov's, but it's still worth noting.

Yakupov. I wont judge his play, just because of the WJC.

Kuznetsov is riding the coattails of Jan Bulis.

Since Jankowski isn't on this list, Tarasenko

Jankowski is already a franchise player in the NHL so he doesn't count.

Does Yakupov do anything other than cherry pick? He reminds me of Kessel.

Its a six game tourny, if you use it as your main scouting source you need help, and he put up respectable stats.

Tarasenko. Not questioning Yakupov's potential, but Tarasenko has proven more up to this point.

He has had two more years of hockey too prove himself. Kinda unfair comparing Yakupov to him in that aspect dont ya think?

And yet there are people ranking Yakupov ahead of Tarasenko. So it can't be that big of a problem.

Kuznetsov. Was before WJC. Coin flip between him and Tank.
