Its their make up. This speculating on some offensive HC for a team known for their defense is mere folly, it isnt gonna happen.

But then again, I also said Lovie wasnt getting turfed, so who knows.
No they wont.

Well, RR has going for him a complete understanding of the C2 and a resume of DC'ing one of the best Bears defenses in a long time.

It adds up...too well as a matter of fact.

So hopefully its just so obvious that it just doesnt happen.

Lovie could have got one more year out of that defense. Now, I expect Urlacher to be gone and hopefully a clean rebuild.

A team known for defense and running the ball?

Its not gonna happen. What they should do is commit to running the ball and getting an Oline that can block. This speculation on some offensive HC is just wishful thinking.

And the person before him was McCaskey, which was one of the greatest fails this franchise has ever seen.

Its ok, Phillips runs this team and hands out the money. I am almost positive that the next HC will be a defenseive coach, possibly some young upstart hot shot just like the last two Bears HC's were with the exception of Jauron who was a complete mental mishap.

Its what the Bears do, but the great thing is Lovie forces yet another turnover with his coaching, this time on the coaching level. You cant blame the guy for his dedication, nor the Bears willingness to stick to tradition of defense and running the football, now, can you?

He should be. He was awful this season. That $3 mil can be used elsewhere.

Hub let out the larffer that "Jay has been running the team."

Why wasnt Jay fired?

Hester has stated he thinks hes gone, nobody expects Urlacher to come back and Jay has one year left on his contract on a team that looks to be headed for a rebuild, meaning his days are numbered.

When will the "trade so and so for first round picks" come thru, I cant wait.

This is gonna be good for a couple of days.

Yep, they gave him the whole season to turn it around and he just got worse and worse. Next up, Urlacher. Great career but it's over here.

Well, my Twitter follow just chirped that the next head coach will be who George McCaskey wants. Which is interesting since it was he and Phillips who kicked Angelo and now Lovie to the curb. Since I wont reveal it, just take it for what its worth.

On the bright side, Steve "Mongo" McMichael has led the Chicago Slaughter to the playoffs in each of his six seasons as head coach of that offensive juggernaut. I think the Bears could do worse....really.

Charlie Weis?

Hester will always be appreciated for what he did with the Bears. The time is just at an end.

Agreed, if these guys want to retire, it would be great to see them remembered as Bears for life. Time for the new era.
