ogletree is small. not sure he has much of a future as a lb in the nfl. needs to put on at least 15-20 lbs or hell get wiped out constantly in the league

Still only 21 years old... That shouldn't be an issue.

Willis is only 240, FWIW. Ray Lewis is also 240.

ogletree doesn't look like he weighs more than 225-230. he's also listed 2 inches taller than willis.

And he's also only 21 years old... I doubt he's done growing for now, and could easily pack on 15-20 pound of muscle over the next few years with NFL quality trainers, nutrition habits, facilities, etc.

yea he easily could. he could also lose the speed that makes him good when he puts weight on. not sure I'd use a first on him if i were the bears.

I would, and wouldn't think twice about it. Would take him over any TE in this draft, and most offensive linemen. The kid is going to be a stud.

Who do you want?

You don't think we need an ILB of the future?

i think we need an ilb of the present. in my eyes ogletree doesn't have an nfl body to play lb(yet). makes taking a guy who's biggest attribute is his speed and ability to get from sideline to sideline pretty risky if he's going to have to put on 15+ lbs

You still haven't said who you want instead... and I disagree, I think he's NFL ready.

At the combine, Clay Matthews was 6'3 240. We'll find out what Ogletree is in a few months, but he's listed at 6'3 232. If he measures out that big at the combine, that's plenty big. Only need to put on 5-10 lbs which is nothing

Luke Keuchly was 6'3 235 at the combine. He's probably defensive rookie of the year

Led the entire league in tackles... by 15. Speaking of, we didn't have a single player in the top 40 for tackles.

Briggs was tied for 41st, with 102 tackles.

Martini, please tell me you think Shea sucks and will never be a NFL player.

Would give me more confidence that he will develop.

Draft talk is too early. Don't know the coaches or the scheme. If we switch to a 3-4, that changes the biggest need from MLB to DT

@timring3TV: I am reporting the Cardinals are very close to a deal with Andy Reid to become the team's next head coach. #AZCardinals #Eagles #NFL

Those two just seem like they'll match together perfectly.

Man, Georgia just hits so hard. It's a real shame they've had Richt over the years. Too bad for their sake they didn't invest a little bit more in a true top notch coach. They would definitely have a National Championship appearance, if not victor, over the last 5 or so years. They've had a ton of talent come through there recently.

#1 in tackles 6'3 235
#2 6'0' 240
#3 6'2' 240

Ogletree listed at 6'2' 232 as a 21 year old kid. It's a pretty weak argument if that's your best argument against him.

All pulled from ESPN, btw.

Zach Ertz... mid to late 2nd round. Also another kid from Florida expected to go mid-3rd.

I'd even be fine with trading up into the 40 range to get him...
