Myers has really regressed while OEL just keeps getting better.

Myers scored more his rookie year then OEL his 2 seasons combined.Myers hasn't regressed, actually has rounded his game off.I'll gladly keep the 6'8 Calder Winner who has proven he can score 40+ points and Phoenix can keep OEL.No Sabre fan will shed any tears.

Myers has proven he can put up marginally more points, yes.

That doesn't even come close to making up the defensive gap.

I love how everyone thinks Myers regressed so substantially from his Calder here, yet about 2% of the people saying this watched 0 Sabres games. ^_^

So 98% of people saying Myers regressed have watched Sabres' games? I don't get it... A normal person would assume watching him would be a good way to judge his play... Is the smiley thing at the end you being happy everyone knows he had a down season?

OEL by a fairly large margin.

Accidentally voted Myers though. Damn you Chrome and your "Want to translate?"-bar.

Useless poll, HF is convinced OEL is the next Lidstrom.

I would rather have Myers, but I can see why everyone voted for OEL.

OEL. I just think he will be a perennial Norris finalist, moreso than Myers.

I think Myers is being underrated by all the "ainec" comments.

OEL is a great young defenseman with loads of potential, but this is really close. I'd be hesitant to say he's overrated, but I do think he's a bit overhyped, as many people on HF have seemingly jumped on the bandwagon and proclaimed him the next Lidstrom without him even having a chance to really prove himself. Anyone saying "AINEC" for either player in this comparison is completely clueless. I'm personally going with Myers, but it is very close, and I would not at all be surprised to see either of these two develop into the better defenseman in the future.
