He is absolutely in the mix. As Cullk said, no run game AT ALL. Jennings has been dinged up all year. Nelson has missed time. Driver has faded and is pretty much irrelevant, and Finley has regressed big time. Rodgers has held that team together and they could be the division leaders after tonight.
To me, I have no idea who the MVP will be. Hell, Brees might even get back in the mix if they can snatch a WC spot. Will be between Peyton, Rodgers, Brady, and Brees IMO.
I'd say Peyton is the lead horse right now, especially with his schedule going forward. He could lead that team to easily winning out and going 13-3. I think they'll have a hiccup at some point most likely, though, and end up 12-4.

Stating that it got the previous four correct means nothing as that was the data the calculation was based on. Predicting the past is easy.

It isn't that it was used in previous seasons... it was BASED on previous seasons.
Touting that a statistic invented to calculate best QB performance (which usually predicts MVP) was able to predict the best QB performance from the data it was based on is circular logic at best. If the calculation couldn't reconcile to it's source data, it would have been completely worthless. As it stands, it is a new measure without a lot of acceptance outside the ESPN world.
To repeat, in terms of actual predictions, Total QBR is 1-for-1. The statistic did not exist in 2010... so could not have been used to predict that winner.

If the reason for Rodgers not being in the discussion is his defense then Manning shouldn't be either. Not sure why you have a double standard when it comes to those two.
