Janus was epic in that tournament. I will never forget his performance against the Swedes.. absolutely stunning performance.

Rooting for the Slovaks here.. they have played well.

Ferarro makes my stomach turn.

"Galchenyuk has been invisible. Galchenyuk needs to find more room."

Galchenyuk has spent most of the last two games completely open upon entry into the offensive zone, only to watch the opposite winger handle the puck until he gives it away. In 3 games, the States have scored 10 goals. Galchenyuk has had a say in half of them.

Gally with two underwhelming games in a row now, playing against a weaker opponent in Slovakia... I feel like he will have a big game today.

Nevermind, I found one. Some good streams here if anyone needs one: http://myp2p.mu/index.php

Just heard EJ Hradek say Miller is struggling because he can't get comfortable at center where they need him. Uh, you could just play Grimaldi and/or Galchenyuk at center?

Slovak anchor smirking over Trouba's name, saying he's the best US player. ("Trouba" means "trompet" in Czech.)

He's our best forward. He's going to be blamed rightly or wrongly for our offensive struggles unless he's putting up 3-4 points a game, but then we wouldn't be struggling.

I don't know, but I don't think I've ever hated a player's game more than I hate Grimaldi's game. Watching him play makes me nauseous

Agreed 100%, very frustrating to watch from a Habs fan perspective. I was looking forward to the world juniors so he would be playing with linemates that could maybe set him up a little bit better than in Sarnia, but so far I'm not seeing it.

Bob McKenzie speculates that Grimaldi is carrying an injury, not just performance related to drop like that.

In which case we aren't even juggling the lines because we aren't generating offense.

Already said I think the style the U.S plays will be too difficult to contain for the Slovaks but I will be supporting the Slovaks here. Firstly because I think the U.S would be more dangerous in the knockout round, I can see them upsetting whoever they face in the Semi Final. Secondly, I like the two guys in the KHL from Slovakia (Dano and Mikus).

tsn just posted Galchenyuk's stats on a ticker as 1 goal 4 points so far...

doesn't he have 3 points against germany, and 1 point in each of the games against Russia and Canada (5 total)?
