Congrats to the Baltimore Ravens!

It was way closer than it should have been, but they held on. That's what matters in the end.

Talk about a Team of Destiny, just a magical playoff run. They finally beat Peyton. They exact some revenge and go beat the Patriots in their house. They barely hang on tonight after dominating the first 55% of the game.

Lewis goes out on top. Reed, Boldin and Suggs finally get a ring after being excellent players for 10+ seasons. Flacco proves he's elite.

To think I picked the Colts to beat them.

Congratulations to the Ravens, I enjoyed watching their run, especially that win in Denver.

It'll be a long night of partying for McNulty and Bunk.

Counted them out when they suffered early season injuries

I was wrong ,, Proves once again that if you get to playoffs anything can happen

Reed might go out on top with Lewis. He's been considering it on a yearly basis it seems, and this year the rumors were even stronger.

I believe the Eagles are the only team to beat them with Ray Lewis in the lineup.

What a run, I didn't give 'em a chance. Ray Lewis retiring on top, what a career!

I didn't think I'd ever see:

1) Joe Flacco: Super Bowl MVP

2) Joe Flacco playing great throughout the playoffs and deserving it.

Congrats Ravens on winning the Superbowl. Game got really intense in the second half. Definitely an entertaining game. Proud to be a 49er fan. Hopefully we can make another run next year. GG!

1st half: Shaping up to be one of the worst SB's, IMO.
2nd half: ****ing amazing.

Congrats Ravens and Raven fans, well deserved Super Bowl title.
Congrats to SF for a great season, and a great 2nd half...falling just short.

Fun game. Can't imagine what was being said in this GDT during the power outage. Not a Beyonce fan, but from the bar, it seemed like she killed it.

How many Capitals fans here are fans of the Ravens instead of the Redskins?

Colts 11-5
Broncos 13-3
Patriots 12-4
49ers 11-4

Has a team ever gone through a tougher road?

MAJOR props to the STEELERS fan that started this thread.

And my god. After all the heart breakers...

Well, my girlfriend has video of me on my knees in front of the TV fist pumping and screaming they finally did it.

I was really worried that they'd melt down and let that lead slip away. Still, in the end I'm glad that they won by a goal line stand. It was also nice to see our young players carrying the team forward.

I'm not too surprised they won. I thought they could do it, but they were not my team obviously. With Lewis in the lineup they only lost a single game all season. With Lewis and Suggs both in the lineup they didn't lose a single game at all.

On this board only a handful of us. In real life it's split a little more evenly though still favoring the redskins...

What a night. What a game! Congrats to my Ravens. I gotta say during the reg season I had my doubts but during the magical game against the Broncos I knew it was destiny.

Im a Caps and Ravens fan as most of y'all can tell by my post count that i dont post much but there Ravens fans on here but as a poster has pointed out its more redskins then ravens. As for the subject it was a great game thought the ravens would blow it in the 2nd half after the lights out momentum swing and some how the ravens held on. The 49ers fans out there have nothing to be ashamed about got a great young team and will be back.
