Charles Hudon was good news for
Chicago Blackhawks prospect
Mark McNeill.
Hudon, who plays for the Chicoutimi Sagueneens of the
QMJHL, was unable to participate at the 2013 World Junior Championship after injuring his back. Enter McNeill of the WHL's Prince Albert Raiders, who replaced Hudon on Team Canada's roster shortly before the start of the tournament.
McNeill is having another solid season with the Raiders, the top team in the
WHL's East Division. While he is counted on to create some offense for the Raiders, his role at the WJC with Canada is more geared towards defensive play.* McNeill hasn't tallied any points in three games at the WJC, but he has instead been an effective penalty killer and defensive specialist for the Canadian squad.…
