I hope RGIII doesn't miss any of next season. That would be a damn shame after such a promising rookie season.

yeah yeah, normally i wouldn't bother to put it up, but the stats aren't wrong and there are a hell of a lot more of them than the average espn analyst/national writer bothers to dig up.

i'm not 100% confident the falcons will win, but i certainly don't think the seahawks should be the favorites like they seem to be. it'll probably be the closest of the games this round, and the hawks' running game is dangerous, but it's more likely than not that the falcons win, in my opinion.

last year they had different coordinators and a completely different approach to the game on both offense and defense. in the nfl, where coaching is pretty much everything, that matters a lot.

I think the Falcons can win. On paper they are the better team, but of course it's all about execution.

Falcons aren't legit contenders because of what happened last year against a team that isn't in the playoffs this year?

DC spot is already accounted for by Thurman getting promoted, but it wouldn't surprise me if he still comes on board in some capacity. At least, if he doesn't have any DC offers on the table.

Rob Ryan actually did a pretty good job with Dallas's defence from what I saw. I'm surprised he's taking the fall for this.

"I inherited a team that was 31st in the league in defense and made them better," Ryan told ESPNDallas.com's Tim MacMahon. "I (expletive) made them a hell of a lot better. I'll be out of work for like five minutes."

Rob Ryan is right, teams will be fighting for him. I think he would fit well in KC. They already have a good defense and play a 3-4.

Bailed on the comedy club and chose to hang out with a few friends from back home so I can watch the game on Saturday.

I for one would rather have him as the 4th WR than throwing to Crabtree for the 3rd downs.

He has the same big mouth as his brother, but he's right. I expect him to get picked up very quickly.

Too much ego for one room and I doubt Rob would want to be subordinate to his brother anyway, or that Rex would let anyone else including Rob run his defense.

Seahawks are nuts. That rookie QB is insane.

I hope they get there.

But Atlanta's this GREAT 14-2 team that's not going to lose!

I'd pick Seattle just cause they look like the most complete team in the league, and the odds reflect that (Seattle's less than a three-point dog on the road, which is telling). But I don't want to hear about Atlanta ever until next January if they lose 'again' as a 14-2 top seed, or how they need to be respected.

i dont see Seattle getting past the 9er's in the NFC, if they beat the Falcons, Harbaugh has gotta be pissed about that last game. I don't think my Packers can beat the 49er's but if they do, Seattle could beat them, even without the "touchdown that totally should've counted"

Seattle has a fighting chance, and I don't expect a walk for either team. Should be a good game.
