He might be around in the 5th. Would love to get 2 young Safeties. That would be terrific!

As it stands, I'm happy with BPA on their board now. I dont care what position, but I always believe OL is a sounds investment. LB is great for special teams too, which they can use. CB has a few players left, but dont need one just as a "reach". WR or RB would be great too.

I'd stay away from DL, and TE now. But thats about it.

How you know Phillip Thomas is a legitimate #Redskins fan? He didn't say the 'Skins needed a safety. His words: "we needed" one. Funny.

Thomas added 12 tackles for loss -- plus four sacks and four forced fumbles -- to a résumé that is impressive from every angle. Most importantly, he displayed a knack for playmaking that is critical in today's game, which is why I believe he will be a big-time player at the next level.

HTTR = Hail To The Redskins

I made the same mistake as you when HTTR first showed up on PFT.

#HTTR is also used a lot on twitter.

I wanted DB's selected and I haven't been disappointed. I like what the Skins have done so far. Would like to see LB, D-line and O-line addressed to finish up the draft. Oh and a late round stud RB to help Morris out would be nice as well.

Also, someone mentioned a list of failed USC QB's earlier and put Jesse Palmer in that list. Palmer was a Spurrier QB from Florida, and The Bachelor.

ok, I stand corrected. I had no idea that was for Hail to the Redskins.

Mdurbin, I apologize, I totally misunderstood your comment.

I still dont like Amerson in rd 2. Dont like him or the value. But, I am warming to Reed at 3, and *love* Thomas at 4.

If we can get Rambo and an OL or LB in the 5th, that would be *huge* too.

David Garrard hasn't played in the NFL in two seasons. Kirk Cousins or Rex Grossman >>>>> David Garrard.
David Garrard was an illustrative example, but you could replace his name with Chad Henne, Matt Flynn, Derek Anderson, or *gasp* Jason Campbell, and they'd have a fine back-up.

Banking on being able to trade your backup QB for multiple picks is a horrid strategy. It doesn't happen particularly often.

And you're underselling Massie. He wasn't close to one of the worst OL in the NFL last year. He was bad at the beginning of the season and improved massively as the year went on.

I'd like to see them go LB and OL from here myself. Or **** it... get a starter at any position and I'm thrilled.

Rambo is still on the board but I doubt they go with another DB.

Get some depth on the OL.

Undersized RB with plenty of speed and return ability. Shanny knows a thing or two about drafting RB's late.

Chris Thompson, RB, Florida State
Height: 5-7. Weight: 192. Hand: 9.28.
Projected 40 Time: 4.40.
Projected Round (2013): FA.
4/23/13: The speedster Thompson was having an impressive senior year for the Seminoles before another season-ending injury. He tore the ACL in his left knee. Thompson averaged 7.5 yards per carry in 2012 for 687 yards and five touchdowns. He also had 21 receptions for 248 yards through the air. Thompson said at the ACC Championship Game that he is ahead of schedule in his rehab.

8/16/12: Thompson broke his back against Wake Forest in the fifth game of the season and missed the rest of the year. He never really got going. As a sophomore in 2010, Thompson ran for 845 yards with an average of 6.3 yards per carry and six touchdowns.

Looks like a reach from all I've read about him. Darren Sproles type RB.

Great pick, MOAR WEAPONZ!

Edit: But seriously, he's electric. Concerned about his durability though. We already have a COP back who can't stay healthy in Roy Helu.

Take that reach comment back. More sites have him listed as a 5-6 round pick.

This pick puts Roy Helu on notice, and tells Royster he should start looking for another team.

thats fine. He's fast. Needs space to make his mark, but RG3 brings that for us. 3rd down back, or spread offense.

Not bad. He's tiny, and injury prone due to that. He needs the MJD weight routine, now.

here's hoping to OL (preferably OG or C)...or specifically, Rambo from UGA. Be thrilled to get another young S to work with Thomas. HAving 2 gives us better odds of one sticking and making an impact

Mel Kiper likes the pick. Good enough for me.

5-7, 190 lbs that benched 225 21 times at the combine. Little guy with strength. Watching some highlights of him he reminds me of Dave Meggett the way Meggett used to fight for yards with the Giants.
