Based on the evidence presented today Hernandez is about as smart as you'd expect a football player to be.

Pretty much as I expected when he turned in a smashed phone and destroyed his home security system. I guess nobody from his house ever heard of the word forensics.

My fantasy team last year had to be the thugliest of all. Vick, Rothlesberger and Hernandez. Despite the 3 of them doing dick all year I somehow won reg season most points.

What an idiot. Video of himself walking in and out of his house with the murder weapon. They have the car on video coming and going from the crime scene. Exiting the car with the gun after the murder. You can't make this stuff up. Ironically he got the surveillance system to protect himself but instead facked himself. Priceless.

Agh. I want to be excited but I no longer have any shred of faith in the org's ability to handle him.

I'm just glad for the Skins camp just to distract me from the Nationals . Harper/Desmond sitting tonight.

Keenan Robinson tore his othe pectoral and is lost for the year:

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...out-for-season

There goes the ILB depth and Fletcher's potential replacement. The Skins need not draft LBs from Texas U anymore.

Washington's Jarvis Jenkins suspended for first four games of season for violating NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.

This sucks. Already thin at the position with Carriker being out for the season. Who's starting there now? Gholston?

It's ****ing bull **** is what it is. Jenkins even pulled out the "I have no idea how that got in my body" explanation. Well that **** excuse doesn't cut it these days.

It's one thing for good players to miss time due to injury, but miss games because of failed drug tests? Unacceptable.

Also, Chris Baker was 2nd string after Jenkins. Baker was moved to end with the return of Neild. So Baker is the starting LDE.

Sounds like Orakpo has been a man possessed. I'd love to see him have an amazing season.

Heard that too, just in time as well. Contract year and he needs to live up to his "300%" boast. He being back to his pro bowl form will help the defense (specifically Ryan Kerrigan) a lot.

Also, been hearing good things about Aldrick Robinson. Griffin sang his praises a couple days ago during an after practice presser, but some beat writers have said he might be figuring things out in his 3rd year. If he can provide some 3rd receiver speed and consistency at least that will be a huge help.

On the flip side I have not read or heard much at all on another 3rd year WR in Hankerson. Not sure if that is good or bad. The Skins need him to figure things out in his 3rd year as well. If he can he can be a little insurance for another multiple game injury for Garcon.

Call me skeptical but I think Hank and Robinson practice a lot better than they play on game day.

I think they play afraid of getting their clocks cleaned. Practice I am sure they dominate where the Mike is not going to touch them. Kyle has to call plays that cater to their strengths wide and deep, not run them into the safety.

I like the Devery Henderson pickup. I see him beating out both those guys. Sure they will all get time but think he passes them on the depth chart if he still has gas in the tank. Last I saw of Robinson he barely got snaps after his big TD versus Dallas. And Hank was going down easy vs Seattle in the loffs on our last push.

Hopefully they worked out with Flash and MJ this offseason and bulked up a bit.

Yes Hank and Robinson have a lot to prove on game day, but I don't see Henderson beating either one of them out for a roster spot. Henderson couldn't stick with New Orleans and San Diego. Both teams with pro bowl level QB's and offenses that love/need speedy WR's that can catch. If one of the 3rd year WR's is getting cut for a journeyman WR I'd rather have Dante Stallworth. Same player as Henderson, but Stallworth knows the offense.

****, I'd rather the Skins keep Desmond Briscoe than sign Henderson.

Henderson is working for an X spot and the Z spot includes Rob and Hank so maybe the competition is not there and I will be wrong.

Maybe the guy he surprise beats out if anyone, is Moss. Moss has been a stud here playing out of optimal position for years but now every time he gets the ball I am fearing a fumble. At least he took a pay cut.

I was high on Briscoe last year but the few chances he got, he seemed to turn to run without the ball.

I hope we get away from using WR's as RBs next year. Morgan and Briscoe running the ball did nothing for our offense other than prove we were very thin at RB.

Good opening post all the depth charts and analysis

Regardless of who we think will and won't make the team as a WR, it appears the team has good players fighting for roster spots at multiple positions on both sides of the ball. Its refreshing.

I have a feeling Hankerson will suck this year, go to another team, and excel. Just to piss me off.

Looks like Henderson and Robinson will be competing for the same spot after all:

Skins signed Nick Barnett to a one year deal. Great depth signing at linebacker. He may even end up starting.

Now if they can just sign an RT, things will be looking really up!

That Barnett signing could end up being a steal.

Which running backs are going to lead your fantasy teams to championships and which are going to blow out their knees/brains?

Winners - Lynch, Rice, Peterson, Spiller, Morris, MJD, CJ2K
Busts - Charles, Foster, Martin, Forte, Jackson, McCoy

Thoughts?
