Ze latest news was that AO won't play for Dynamo because they couldn't even contact him or his agent. Chesnok is 99% sure it's CSKA. However, Spartak (who's pursuing Kovalchuk) has signed Leonid Ovechkin for 2 years.

So with the dream of Semin-Dats-Ovi gone, due to Semin with Loko and it not being possible, we will see Ovi with Datsyuk? Or is that a dream and Datsyuk probably won't sign there or do you think he will sign there if Ovi does?
Datsyuk is rumoured to be negotiating with Avtomobilist from his hometown Yekaterinburg.
So yeah, the dream combo likely won't be assembled. At least CSKA has Radulov now.

If Ovechkin isn't playing with a great center I would rather him go to Traktor...
Well, Radulov is a winger, but a very good playmaker, so it's not that bad of an option. Playing with Kuznetsov would of course be fun to watch.
But Ovy may just be preparing for his birthhday party right now, not thinking about stupid lockout and contracts.

Ak Bars posted on their web site that they're not planning to sign any NHL players, because there's no certainty yet about how long will lockout last. Idk whether it's true, Lysenkov was very sure about it.
The funny thing is, during the last lockout Ak Bars was so stacked many NHL teams would be jealous. And a 1st round PO exit, maybe they don't want that to repeat.

Really? He's that big? That's Chara sized. Joking.
My concern is that Ovechkin gets injured. Even with insurance that will be a big loss for the Capitals. He really does sell seats, jersey's etc. He is the sizzle.
Does anyone know when Ovechkin would start playing for Dynamo?
I am going to try and watch some of the Dynamo Moscow games, is anyone else going to try and watch the KHL games? I am going FRS will have the games streaming. The only hard part is that they are 8 hours ahead of time...
Datsyuk still isn't confirmed, so there is hope he goes to Dynamo, which is where he played last lock out.
Though I think not being with a highly skilled center could work for Ovechkin. Get him back to his days of great individual plays, get back on the bike and remember how he did it before.
