And we have a deal: Bears traded OL Gabe Carimi to Tampa Bay for a sixth-round pick in 2014.

Cue BWC Bears 1st round drafting rant.

His OL coach in Wisconsin is now the Bucs OL coach. Worth the gamble.

Total bust ,, Was supposed to be a safe pick a guy who would at least be NFL starting RT

Turned out to be injury prone and just terrible... Not showing up to Bears offseason workouts (Only guy who didn't) was clear sign it was over

At this point Bears should just trade there first round pick every year for established talent

The top of that 2011 draft looks absolutely stacked. The top 16 include Cam Newton, Von Miller, AJ Green, Patrick Peterson, Julio Jones, JJ Watt and Ryan Kerrigan. Even Fairley and Pouncey are pretty decent. The jury is still out on Ponder.

Too bad Locker and Gabbert look like busts or we may be talking about one of the best top halves ever.

And you forgot about Marcell Dareus, Tyron Smith and Robert Quinn who have also been pretty solid.

Not to sound like too much of a homer, but Gabbert was showing decent signs of improvement before he got injured last year, he's also had three Head Coaches in two years, I think he can at least turn into an "Okay" starter. We fixed his O-Line, got him some very good receivers and put him in an offensive system that should allow him to succeed. Rest is on him to improve now.

Safe picks in the NFL basically means good enough to stay on an NFL roster and not get cut. Ask Aaron Curry.

Prince Amukamara has been very good for the Giants, as well. Cemented as at least the #2 CB (in all reality, he's the #1 guy).
