Vikes are short one starting LB. Urlacher may be near the end, but gives an option other than a 4th or 7th round rookie starting.

"Brian has been a great player in our league for a long, long time," Frazier said in an interview with NFL Network on Wednesday morning.

"He was a thorn in our side for many years. At this point we want to look at the guys on our roster, give them a chance to compete for the middle linebacker position then we'll see where it takes us."

I hope this is just a bluff.

Does anybody want him?? He's awful. Can anybody honestly say they think he's worth another NFL contract??

I quite like both pickups to. With Alualu moving to DE, I was worried we'd be thin at DT. but these moves have added nice depth.

Uh oh

Looks like Urlacher and his agent misjudged the market

Should have taken Bears offer

I rather see see Erin inside and Hodges outside and in the nickle anyway. Urlacher does us no good, he's a stop gap. We're still rebuilding IMO. Last year was kinda flukey, not even the front office thought they'd be a playoff team. I think the Vikes regress to like 8-8 this year.

If Urlacher is still out there come camp and the rookies, Cole and Henderson really look outta place then maybe I take another look.

Seattle's former 1st-round pick Bruce Irvin has suspended without pay for violating NFL policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
So that's Richard Sherman (avoided suspension even though he tested positive), Brandon Browner, and now Bruce Irvin. What a bunch of bums.

Step one for a disappointing year for Seattle

Well no one ever accused Irvin of being the sharpest tool in the shed. However, the two posts above are ****ing hilarious.

A lot of people seem to be picking Seattle right now. The team that has won the division 2 years in a row is pretty good, too...

They have questions at QB now that they lost an elite game manager.

Even with the crap that's happened in Seattle, a lot of people are picking them to win the NFC

Who here remembers the 2005 Seahawks? Hasselbeck, Alexander, Strong, Jones, Hutchinson, Tatupu, Trufant, Engram, Stevens, Jackson

Well I do obviously, but even that squad didn't get it done in SB fashion--good as they were. I think the current bunch can potentially put the '05 team to shame. As long as they don't all get suspended for adderall.

Bruce Irvin is the 6th member of the Seahawks player to test positive for performance enhancing drugs since 2011.
Cheat Carroll and the Cheathawks.

He uses the "Adderall" excuse so he won't look as bad. The league won't reveal what he took, but i doubt it was Adderall.

What questions are those?

Certainly you can't mean Kaepernick? There has been nothing in his play to indicate he is not ready to be the undisputed starter. I mean, the guy just took his team to the SuperBowl posting a 100+ QB rating through the post-season.

The 49ers?

I was as big a Smith fan as they get, but Kap was better than him as a rookie last year. No reason to think he won't progress. Hell, Russell could regress himself.

I remember that team. They did get the short end of some calls, but they would have lost regardless.

I doubt he knows any of that or cares to acknowledge it.

I agree. I've just seen a lot more picking Seattle, which is understandable, people like to see new blood.
