Mario Williams could be the next tragic case:

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/ey...cidal-thoughts

Quote:
"No money in the world should leave me with suicidal thoughts," Williams allegedly texted to Marzouki, per the Associated Press.

Buzbee claims to have copied that text -- among others -- from his client's phone. The others are also bad news. Williams allegedly wrote that he took three hydrocodones before a Bills game against the Patriots and when Marzouki allegedly told Williams, "Why don't you talk to someone? Clearly you're not happy & if your takin pills that's bad," Williams responded by allegedly writing "there's no telling what I'll do to myself."

"I need to go back n my shell. There's no telling what Ill do to myself at this point. I'm sry Ill disappear from now on."

First Geno Smith and now Dee Milliner has also fired his agent because he didn't go Top 5. Boy the Jets sure can pick 'em

Do you know how long it took me to realize that you're Jussi Trollinen and changed your name, and not another mythical Jags fan? Longer than I'd like to admit.

If smart fans is inversely proportional to team success, then I've been among the smartest fans for the past 14 years...

So on the same weekend as the Super Bowl?

I actually don't mind this. Delaying the combine gives some of those injured players more of a chance to get healthy and delaying the draft allows an almost seamless transition into the mini camps and OTAs.

But it was broken. That's the problem. The combine supposedly became a tamper fest so they wanted to do something about it.

This has nothing to do with the combine, and everything to do with going to an 18-game schedule.

Maybe. Maybe not. An 18 game schedule still has to get by the players.

And even if it were the case, its "side effect" of moving the draft/combine still cures the tampering issue. I think some people just like to complain.

It will happen eventually. At some point it's going to be too much money they're leaving on the table.

Agreed.

It's not a big deal at all.

Kinda sad. He's obviously not the player he used to be, but I still feel he could offer a team something.
