Good thing they picked up Boldin, and still have yet to put AJ Jenkins on the field.

So of course, some Seahawks fans are talkin' **** on Facebook after hearing about this injury. As someone who lives up that way, I find a lot of parallels between them and the way Canucks fans are viewed as arrogant even though neither team has won a championship. The Seahawks are going to be hated by everyone in the coming years, you can believe that.

Reachhhhhhh. It's hard to doubt the 9ers management because so many things have worked out for them(deservedly), but what a head scratcher that was. Good developmental guy, but you don't draft those guys in the 1st. Most had him pegged in the 3-4 range.

Sucks for Crabtree. He seemed like he was finally coming into his own.

Yeah, they didn't like his rookie season from the start. A lot of reports from the beginning that Harbaugh and co. weren't impressed with his workouts or how he performed in practice. The one time he got into a game, he couldn't even line up properly. He also dropped the 1 ball thrown to him. Not a great 1st impression.

I have a feeling Patton will have more of an impact this season than Jenkins will.

D.J. Hayden (Raiders 1st round pick) was hospitalized with an abdominal injury but there's some speculation that it might be related to that serious heart issue he had last year.

It was in that the bleeding from his heart seeped into his abdomen and left scar tissue. The operation was apparently to clean up the scar tissue, but that could be a recurring problem.

Quote:

Baalke called the Patriots, who owned the first pick of the second round, and offered two third-round picks (one in '11, one in '12) to move up 12 spots. New England wanted one of the thirds to be a second. No dice, Baalke said. Oakland called New England too, and failed to get the pick. "When we talked internally,'' Jackson said, "we knew we needed to fortify the offensive line, and we really liked Stefan Wisniewski. I think [Al Davis] felt we'd get a lineman who we figured could play for us for 10 years, then we had two third-round picks, and we'd try to move up late in the second round or higher in the third and try to get Colin."

But the 49ers knew the Raiders loved Kaepernick; it'd been in the media before the draft. So they kept working the top of the second round, and finally got the Broncos, at 36, to bite. Good price, too: It didn't cost the Niners two third-round picks to move up; it cost fourth- and fifth-rounders. "When they made the trade,'' Jackson said, "I knew exactly what they were going to do. They were going to take Colin."
Didn't know that. Sorry Raiders, not really.

So do we have a thread about the Jags moving to London in 2020?

Jamarcus could honestly play the offensive line.

I don't think Jamarcus is stupid, he just makes stupid decisions.

Goodell is a moron for many reasons. Why do you want a team in London? Why are you trying to alienate a fanbase that is finally starting to get on firm footing in Jacksonville by singling out the Jags as a team that would have even more games taken away from their home stadium? Even if that's what Goodell wants to do, there is no indication that it's even remotely what Shad Khan wants to do.

Jacksonville is a small market that hurts TV ratings, I mean its big and would make MLB NBA and NHL envious, but compared to other markets, tiny.

You do realize that JaMarcus has slimmed down a lot. He's at 265 now and probably will get a bit lower than that.

While weight was a big (no pun intended) issue for Russell, he struggled to read defenses and was wildly inaccurate. Sliming down won't help that.
