They are a good thing temporarily. I hope they are removed progressively and we go back to the Clintonian rates.

I only call them the Obama Tax Cuts as a joke -- because I ****ing can.

I truly love the 2016 political dynamics at play with this vote with Rubio and Ryan voting the exact opposite.

Voting just like he always does...A big spending fiscal hawk... I think voting no on this will not help 2016 hopefuls.

I don't think voting no on this bill is a good strategy for Rubio and I think it's great strategy for Ryan.

Is today opposite day?

Republicans just voted against a (currently -- for two months) unfunded tax cut and Democrats just voted for one.

LOLWTF

Easy -- yes vote. Instant "compromiser" label. Rubio will appeal to the hard line idiots, but without the compromise he loses the moderates (just like Romney did when he tried to become a hardliner).

I agree... Not sure why Rubio would have voted no seeing as how I can just about guarantee this vote was strictly based of 2016 in mind for those who plan to run.

They appear to be unhappy. They were airing the EP where he blames the poor and their love of Obama handouts as the reason Obama was re-elected. Essentially saying that Obama bought the election by showering the poor with gifts.

Ruh-Roh...

Republicans stall vote on Sandy relief. And..........

Luke Russert ‏@LukeRussert
The guy who cleans up w #NYC money RT @jbendery: Boehner aide refers questions about Sandy aid bill to Cantor's office.

Maybe there is a bigger rift behind the scenes.

There is truth to that as a hidden camera caught Obama bribing voters and even their children.

Does this guy have no shame?

How low will he stoop?

The true conservatives are expressing outrage at the deal...and I suspect the tea party will start beating the war drums about the debt ceiling.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/0...n_2393835.html

They do not like compromise on any level.

We'll see if they increase the pressure enough on Boehner & Co to do something really stupid.
