I'm told that Trestman is the heavy favorite for the job.

Bruce Arians is also a third finalist.
I'm rooting for Trestman.

Well, he was the coach of our linebackers. He's also the assistant head coach IIRC.
Pagac ran the LB this year after getting demoted from DC. Singletary was then demoted/considered "co-LB coach"/assistant to the Head Coach, but by all accounts Pagac does most of the work with the LB and Singletary is just there.
Asked a similar question last year at this time, but am I missing something with Brian Billick, why there seems to be absolutely no mention/rumor of him at all. At least Gruden and Cowher get some run in the speculation-based sports media. For that matter, Herm Edwards. Have these guys come out and cut the cord? Is there something about them that would indicate they aren't interested or viable?
I get the whole "retread" concept, but Billick in particular seems like a young guy who was successful who doesn't feel, to me anyway, like a "retread." (Yeah, he's been out of coaching for a while, now, but still.)
Reminds me of Jim Fassel in that regard.

No truth to the rumor I am advising Eagles HC search.

I think Billick is overrated. He was an offensive guru, and his offenses were pathetic in Baltimore. He was fortunate to have arguably the best defense of all time in winning a Super Bowl, because I'm pretty sure it's impossible to go 6 games without scoring a touchdown. Not even the Chiefs did that.
People are on the Gus Bus here in Philly. They want Gus Bradley. I also think the Eagles won't know what to do, because I don't see any other candidates named "Bradley" or "Kelly" out there.
I've been okay with Bradley, but won't be heartbroken if he leaves. Seattle has plenty of options they can plug in at DC and it's really Pete's defense anyway.
I know this is for coaches, but I figured there would be much lulz in the fact that the Giants #2 Marc Ross turned down the Jets GM job because of the circus that exists there.

Don't know that much about the guy, but he seems like more of a cap guy than a personnel expert. Which suggests that Rex Ryan's influence with ownership isn't waning.
