don't know how anybody can be named outside Malkin, he's second in points only to Jagr, while Jagr is playing in a far weaker league. in NLA it's a split between Seguin and Bergeron methinks, while in the Nordics Karlsson probably takes the cake.

Pominville is getting along real well. Not much in the Spengler Cup but look on him addding to those 5+6 in 6 in the DEL. Had no points in his first two games as well.
ah yes, somehow forgot about him. then let's have it this way: Bergeron was bossing it in the Spengler, Tavares has the best PPG, but Seguin scored quite a bunch of goals. i think you can pick any of the three.
From Finland I would say two stand-outs. Erik Karlsson of course, 34 games in 30 points but that is something that should be expected from the Norris Trophy winner. Other player who hasn't performed as well in NHL level is Mikkel Boedker. 28 points in 26 teams and +14 in a team that has 7/24 players on plus and the best non-Danish player (Larsen and Nielsen are also in the same team) at +4.
Jagr is doing pretty good in the Czech Extraliga. He's got 55 Pts in 32 games and is second overall in that league scoring while the leader has 59 Pts in 36 games.
Jagr's got a 1.72 PPG, and while this league is not as tough as the KHL, it's a pretty good league with quite a few NHL'ers playing there during the lockout. Plekanec who plays on Jagr's team has 9 less points in 1 more game. Other notable NHL'ers playing there are Hemsky and Krejci who are at 1.19 and 1.13 PPG respectively. If Jagr were to continue at this scoring pace and were to finish the year in the Czech Republic, he would be on pace to score 86 Pts which would be a new Czech Extraliga scoring record (over 52 games with Jagr only playing 50 games).
The Czech league is also played on NHL size rinks as opposed to the "European" larger rinks. It's among the top 3 leagues in Europe, it's the KHL, Swedish Elite league and then the Czech Extraliga (although NHL'ers were not allowed to join the Swedish Elite this year league if I'm not mistaken).
There was a study made that says that 74% of the points scored in the Czech Extraliga translate to NHL points while the KHL is a 73% conversion.
In that measure, Jagr is playing at a 104 Pts (over 82 games) NHL scoring clip. He's also 40 years old. Jagr also has a total of 24 goals and is a plus 21 in 32 games.
I say it's between Malkin and Jagr.

Haha, just thought I'd clear up incase others didn't get it.
Karlsson has 34 Points in 30 Games, and its 28 points in 26 Games for Boedker
Glad to see that Karlsson is keeping up his PPG paces
Now I know that you said abroad, but you also said no Justin Shultz because he hasn't played in the NHL. If the AHL counts, Eberle is top on scoring by a huge margin and Hall is fourth but missed a month.
He may not be the leading scorer in his league, not even on his team, but if we compare to last season in the NHL and see what they're doing this year, Tomas Plekanec deserves a lot of credit. With 21 goals, 46 points in 32 games, he's a major contributor to Jagr's success on that team.
