Subway is testing a new "Creamy Sriracha Sauce" in at least a few stores in southern California as well as Florida. Sriracha is a Thai hot sauce that's popular in Thai and Vietnamese cuisine where it's most often used as a dipping sauce or as a condiment for Vietnamese pho (beef noodle soup).
However, it's gained popularity and use in recent years in the culinary community. It was even named the "Ingredient of the Year" for 2010 by Bon Appetit. Here's a hilarious comic strip from The Oatmeal regarding the use of Sriracha.
The new sauce was first spotted by Foodbeast out in Santa Ana, CA and was later found by a GrubGrade reader in Florida where it's offered in the Sriracha Chicken Melt. Since Santa Ana isn't terribly far from Los Angeles, I called my local Subway to found out if they had it and walked over to check it out for myself (review to come... when my mouth stops burning), snapping the above photo while I was at it.
I've become a fan of Quaker Steak and Lube's supercharged. It's definitely hot and even gives a burn for a few seconds, but as quickly as you're saying how hot it is, it's gone. Maybe not completely gone, but it doesn't have that lingering heat that lasts for several minutes with stuff like habanero-based sauces.
This is a pretty definitive chart on what's out there for hot sauces, peppers, and where they rank on the Scoville chart.
The Blair's stuff is ridiculous. There's a wing shop back home that has a series of wings and the base of their sauce is from Blair's (whether it be by mixing or even mixing and injecting directly into the wing). I made it up to Death Wish 3 or 4, which is still probably 4 or 5 from the top. The top 4 wings require you to sign a waiver. Yeah, that's my breaking point. I know what the last wing did to me and it didn't require a waiver.

At 30,000 Scovilles, it's far up on the heat scale. Sriracha, while still a favorite of mine, is "only" around 2,200.
Awesome place for wings. Can't say I've tried the supercharged myself yet (Buckeye BBQ is pretty awesome though despite the name) but now I'm intrigued next time I head up to PA or head out to Charlotte.
I've been using it on sandwiches, pasta, hotdogs, etc since I was little.
Yea it's not that spicy, but when you don't have anything else it's nice to have in the fridge.
when you put into a pasta, assuming you have sauce, you are mixing it into a liquid. Adding it to anything bread-based is just weird. The bun/bread would just absorb it and ruin the texture of what you're eating.

@AdamRichman: Finish this sentence: "Sriracha is best on..."

Quite...I made a serious mistake with that stuff & wings a while ago & I won't go into details, but it is a mistake one does not repeat!
I don't know if you've come across the Ring of Fire line of sauces, but they're utterly delicious!

a)you used it as a sauce directly and ....yeah, no description needed here.
b)you used it to mix into another sauce, caught a drop on your hands and either wiped your face or went to the bathroom without washing hands.

Gonna give it a go and I don't care if I sweat like mad I'm going to keep eating it
Thx
Try this, make a batch of good Mac n cheese. Acquire Sriracha, Tabasco Chipotle, Frank's and a very potent horseradish mustard. Grab a forkful, and do one drop for each. A good sauce should add to the flavor, not just add heat.

Blair's entire product line is insane.
There's a burrito place near my house that sells Death Rain chips, and even offers it as a condiment to sprinkle on any burrito you order. In addition, there's also a shelf full of hot sauces, as well as little baggies of dried bhut jolokia peppers (a.k.a. "ghost" peppers, one of the hottest in the world). Bought a bag once, and let's just say it took a long time to get through three of them, at the rate I was using them. Potent stuff.

I used to have a fairly large bag of dried ghost peppers. I would challenge people to eat them with me whenever would we get drunk at my house
