Yeah just saw the replay of the Gostisbehere 'suspension' for the first time, hard not to agree with Bob. They each should have gotten 2 minutes in the box for that mess. Good ol' IIHF, hard to believe an ex-NHL ref and an ex-NCAA coach made that decision.

With little ice time and his linemates, I don't see how he can do much more. Gaudreau had a lot more ice time and better linemates than Galchenyuk and I don't see why he deserved it, the way he played in the last few games.

I've said it after the game against Germany, the Barber-Kuraly-Galchenyuk line is not a good one and they'd be exposed against any other team that isn't Germany. Galchenyuk needs to be the guy carrying the puck into the offensive zone. When he does, he's great at drawing in a player or two before passing it back to the blue line for some shots on net. Part of his game that I love so much is setting up puck possession in the offensive zone. He's done it in Sarnia all season long and the few chances that he's had with the US team, he's done it as well.

Hitting him in the junk would make his voice high pitched and more annoying.

You don't have to convince me. I know he's a terrific talent. He's one of my favorite prospects not under ownership of Anaheim. Some players just get stifled in this tournament. Bad coaching. Bad chemistry. Whatever it may be. It's just not really happening for him right now. Even when he has the puck on his own, he's fumbling it a lot.
