Trouba has a cannon. And he hurt Miller with it who should get credit. That pain deserves a goal.

THAT WAS ****ING SICK! What a play by Jones! That was brilliant. Oh and obviously kudos to Trouba for that bomb. Him and Jones have been great tonight. But Trouba I thought last year was USA's best player and it hasn't changed. Can't rave about him enough.

It's not that he has looked bad this game. It's that he looks terrible as a goalie. And that may not make sense but what I mean is he lacks skill as a goalie. I'm no scout or anything. Just a guy who plays goalie every now and then. It really comes as no surprise to me that he isn't drafted.

Czech frustration starting to show.

Trouba has a lot of similarities with Shea Weber.

After the first few minutes in this game the Czechs just have not played well.

Two goalies have played for the Czech's. Their better goalie got pulled early, none of the first 3 (when Bartosak was in) were the goalie's fault. Bartosak is a solid netminder, Machovsky...meh.

OK, so the Russians beat the US and the Czech beat the Swiss and the US is beating the Czech by a very wide margin -> no good expectations for the Swiss ,-)

I knew the CAN group was better from watching the games, but the level of dominance is still surprising tbh.

Lol "shanked it"

I wish more announcers would use that term. Much better than "whiffed on it" or "fanned on it"

I know it's 7-0, but still kind of funny that Galchenyuk isn't playing on all these powerplays.

Yeah, I'm not sure why he got the rep as a defense only guy. He certainly didn't look that way at the U-18s.

What did Jones do on that last goal that was so amazing? I think I was posting during that goal.

I thought I was the only one who thought this. When i would make my case to Ducks fans that we should take him at 6 I would claim that the Ducks could use a Shea Weber like defenseman.

Housley is a long-time lurker on these boards and hates Canadien fans
