Your team's top players who suck at the shootout.

Nucks and Hawks fans had a friendly little dispute tonight over whose coach is worse at picking players for the shootout. Vigneault likes to try D. Sedin and Edler despite their terrible stats, while Quenneville counters with Sharp and Leddy, who aren't any better.

Which players on your team are terrible at shootouts despite their star status, and/or keep getting put out by the coach despite their poor shootout record?

Daniel Sedin barely gets any attempts. Edler was used regularly before, but he's gone now.

Bobby Ryan is pretty awful. Getz not much better. Strange how both Carlyle and BB favor them over Koivu who is pretty good

Sedins AINEC. Both have really good hands and shots so their lack of 1-on-1 success is a bit baffling. Too much time to think it over?

Marty St.Louis, Vinny and Stamkos all suck in shootouts.

Kind of odd, but Hedman is one of our best shoot out guys and rarely gets the opportunity.

He used to. And AV seemed to forget how bad he was, and tried him again. I expect to see Edler back shooting again in the future, too.

Edit: I'm a big supporter of AV, though. Just not when it comes to shootouts.

Michal Handzus seems to be the opposite. He's been pretty consistent even when his regular play was bad.

Sedins. Just...wow.

Burrows has one good move, can be embarrassing when he tries something else.

Sharp is awful in the shootout. Just awful. He's 4-for-27 going back to the Hawks Cup year. I challenge anyone to find a consistent 30+ goal scorer who has sucked that bad in the shootout over the past 3 seasons.

Leddy really can't be determined to be good or bad in the shootout, as tonights game was his first shot in an NHL shootout. He was supposedly pretty good in the AHL, and I did see him score on a laser wrist shot against Lake Erie.

Iginla ( 9/36 )
Cammalleri ( 9/35 )
Glencross ( 2/9)

All three are horrible.

Sedins and Sharp have to take for skilled players sucking in the shootout. It's actually hard to believe Sharp is that bad.
