As long as there are LW's and RW's there's no reason we can't have a poll with the two of them separate. WE've worked around the grey area for years and I guess we'll continue to do so.

My point is they shouldn't be separate in the first place, but as long as they are the poll should stay in place.
Okay, I'll continue the polls to the end even if there are discrepancies between what position a certain player plays. Thanks.

Still really really confused how Landeskog is winning this. Hes solid defensively but he only scored 52 points in 82 games. Theres still 5+ players I'd take over him pretty easily.

These type of polls seem more based on potential.

Lando has one season under his belt....

Dustin Brown is a consistent 20g-30A 50p player, that is top Five in the league hits wise yearly.

A Captain of a Stanley Cup winner, and was in the running for the Conn Smythe.

And looking at this trending poll, he is not even in people's top 15 LW ?

You would have to go back to 06-07 to find that last time Brown scored below 50 points.

That is also the last time he didn't hit 20g.

Also Matt Moulson's job is to score goals, he has hit 30g three straight seasons now. He is not even in the top 15 ?

I could see the argument for Patches, and Kane but after that, no there really isn't anyone.

Landeskogs winning because of what he did last season as a 19 year old. The fact that he almost lead the Avs in points, was a Defensive wizard, and won the calder is why hes gonna be 14th.

Moulson has scored 30 goals in every season and 36 last year. Cami has multiple 80 point seasons under his belt. There's several guys here that any team would take over Landeskog.

I think people are forgetting how hard it is to score 30g in the NHL.

Only about 23 to 28 wingers TOTAL in the NHL will hit 30g in a season.

Also most of those guys don't do it yearly. Moulson has done it three years in a row.

I hate to be a Landeskog "hater" but I think people are just blindly voting for him because of the name. I'd take Brown, Pacioretty, Moulson, Filppula, Kane, Hartnell, McDonald, Michalek and Skinner over him. I know people might not agree but IDK I just don't see it.
