37-32 is outshooting "the hell" out of Canada?

I expect it to be a pretty close game again. Canada played much better against the Russians than they did against US and now we'll have a full roster this time around, both teams seem to be hitting their stride. Should be fun to watch.

5-2 Canada, the Americans are tired and Canada's gelling at the perfect time.

They're tired? Last game was hardly an all out effort.

Well that was a hyperbole but when you consider how bad the passing was that's a great total.

Saying Gibson will let in more than 4 the way he's playing the way some people have in this thread...I mean...these are delusions.

It is entirely possible that he lets in four no matter how well he has been playing.

It's possible but I'm gonna go with highly unlikely. Only Vasilevsky and Marakov have been better. In the last Canada-USA game Gibson only let in one that wasn't totally Jones' fault and that was the RNH wrister. People said we'd get blown out before that game too and it was very close.

We're hitting our stride, but I still have a bad feeling about this game.

4-2 Canada

The Canadian team is comprised of much better players than the American team. Therefore I predict the Canadians will win once again.

I just hope this one is a little more exciting than the last.

Well here you go, 3-1 USA.

Not a believer of Subban, and feel like Seth Jones will have a monster game and the US Defense will shut down Team Canada.

Goals don't win games! More shots do Too funny.

USA's shot quality wasn't that great in the game. Jones was shooting from about as far back on the boards on the blue line as possible. Grimaldi was shooting from the corner. Canada kept them outside quite a bit. Canada played their first game with their entire roster against Russia. They looked much better in that game.

Well he let in 3 to Slovakia, so is it really that delusional to believe Canada could score two more goals than Slovakia?

I have a feeling the Danault - Jenner - Ritchie line will go to work once again, Subban and Gibson both play great but Canada is too deep, Stromes line and Mackinnon have good games, canada 4-1 with empty net

Maybe you would like to back up your silly rantings with an avatar bet?

Canada wins, I choose your avatar that you have to wear for a month.

Americans win and you get to choose mine.

This is exactly the semifinal I predicted would happen. I said it back then and will say it again, USA will not hold up. They had a horrible schedule. This isn't just back to back games, or three in four nights. It's 6 in 8 days. They are the least rested team and it will show tomorrow. I still can't believe Phil didn't rest Gibson after going up 5 goals. Very stupid decision. At least he burned minutes on Rocco and Biggs in the third. I was surprised that Gaudreau got the POG today. Two goals by broken passes that ended up with empty net shots and one beauty pass by Miller with the same result. USA's only chance tomorrow is if Canada gets into penalty trouble, but they have continued to play more disciplined as the tournament has gone on. Canada won't give USA the powerplays and more importantly, won't give them any space in the slot.

Canada's new lines against Russia were so much better than the units vs USA. The D have also settled down and are all playing well. Subban isn't the goat from the blunders they had the first two games. He's actually been great all tournament. Jenner brings a lot to the team. Face offs, penalty kill and his line will chew up minutes in USA's zone. My only question mark on Canada right now is the second line because it was 3 new line mates last game, but I'm not too worried.

My prediction is that this won't be the one goal difference that many probably think it will.

Hopfully not, I cant stand cheering for Canada honestly. So many Canadians think were the **** and were gonna win everything with no challenge, it annoys me so now I generally cheer against Canada in major tournaments. The only tourney that I still cheer for Canada in is the Olympics.

Yeah, I don't think Team USA will be tired.

That being said, Team USA didn't have to face Team CAN with its 13 forwards either. I think Jenner will have a big impact in this game as he did against the Russians. The score in that game was 4-1, but Canada truly had many quality chances where Makarov was simply scrambling in his crease.

Canada just needs to remain composed and play disciplined: the US has a great PP and in the last two blowout games has scored most of their goals with the man advantage. Let's keep them playing at ES.
