Makes for an even more interesting Wild Card weekend. Whether or not the Ravens win, it will likely be the final game Lewis ever plays in Baltimore.

Glad that he gets to go out on his terms instead of due to an injury.
Any dawgs in the house?!

One of the greatest. Sad to see him go after the playoffs. I'll never forget his intro on Madden 13.

One of the best, but also will go down as one of the biggest, "Yeah, but...." for a rather significant off-the-field issue that probably shouldn't be named here.
Honestly will be a tad interesting if some of that stuff comes back to bite him during Hall of Fame consideration.

I doubt that it will. That was so early in his career I doubt you'll see it come up in any significant way.

Considering the severity of the allegation, even if he wasn't convicted, I would honestly be surprised if it didn't get brought up, even in a landslide HoF election for him.

He was not only not convicted, but the charges against him were dismissed. It hasn't been brought up very often since then. I think if anybody has more to worry about it would be Marvin Harrison.

I hope this isn't the end. Hopefully ESPN or NFL network already are placing phone calls.

Nobody talks about it today, so it won't.
Also, I wonder how his team will respond to this. Worked for Jerome Bettis.

Great player, but I would take Urlacher and his anti-fan crap over Lewis any day of the week.
Not that hes better then Lewis, he isnt, but he isnt that far off.

It was an honor to watch him develop his skills at The U. One of the true all time greats. See ya in Canton, Ray.
