If the matter at hand is resolved by 1/11 to begin play by 1/19, I hope the die hards will remember what transpired, and why. I hope we don't rush back, lemming-like, to a league that gives us the best human beings can offer but is run (yes, irony) by what Sting might call "robber barren scumb*gs."

No, I'm not a Marxist, or especially pro-Union. But a spade is a spade.

Have missed B's and NHL hockey these last months, but not the way I did in '04-'05. As noted elsewhere, rooting for contraction & a rude kick in the groin for the owners.

Make that two.

nasty.

if there is no season, those Biel fans deserve for him to come back and help them win their championship.

they're very passionate about him as far as I can tell.

You can scare it up on Puck Daddy; there's a farewll "open letter to Tyler Seguin" from, I believe, the Biel beat writer (!)

What's the deal with the one player, which is eventually Seguin in this video, wearing the yellow helmet with flames? Possibly the cheesiest thing ive seen in professional sports.

Those jerseys are so ugly and some of them are so close in color to the other teams it would drive me nuts if I had to watch on TV.

Great video tho. That Kane to Seguin goal where Kane deked and threw a backhand pass to Seguin was amazing.

The yellow flames helmet and jersey are worn by the top scorer either on the team or in the league, I forget which.

Never mind the Flaming Top Scorer uni; they were all ugly. There seemed to be about four different get-up's, too (?!).

Attack of the human bumper sticker.

Thanks for nothing NHL.

You suck.

your pal,
Neely08

Thanks for posting that though. Nice knowing we have a shooter so good he hardly ever has to deke a goalie b/c of that filthy, filthy release.

It's not about the name on the back, but the corporate sponsorships on every marketable location on the uniform. I bet the back of the pants, hamstring region ads fetch top dollar

I have no idea how good, or bad, that particular league is, but however lax the defense, TS certainly benefited from some excellent set-up passes.

The Kane to Seguin goals were downright nasty. I'd love him to sign with the B's, and play on Seguin's line for the next ten years.

Not gonna happen if that $60 million cap limit is approved.

Ya they'd have to lose a ton of money to sign him, and the team would suck except for one line.

It's one per team. In this case, Seguin.
