The excuse this year is no Corrado/Murray

Canada's performance so far has been uglier than the great chipmunk fire of '79. They better come out firing in the second period.

Steve Spott is a absolute joke. If they lose at least he'll never be involved with Team Canada again.

RNH has made a bunch of great plays, and even made a few guys look silly, but then passes to Schiefele clean and he immediately turns the puck over each time.

That advice only works when the team trusts the goalie. That team shot blocking atmosphere comes from a lack of stability from the back end and a lack of leadership. The team is panicking.

This. No excuses, just a terrible period by Canada and a great period by the US. Lots of time left though.

That was the most wonderful period in the history of USA hockey. I'm actually depressed we have to play 2 more. I wanna just leave it at that and never play again.

I do agree, especially on the first goal but sorry I am not going to feel sorry for Subban on the 2nd one. Instead of putting your hands up, why don't you try to fight to see the puck? That's what great nhl goalies do, when they can't see, look right/left to see it.

For all the canadian fans, just remember this...

without Canada, there isn't hockey, and we've been blessed with some of the best players, teams and moments in hockey history.

Still 2 periods, but won't be much of a game If Canada doesn't handle any
Of their passes
