I don't see a clear cut favorite. Should be interesting.

I diverted from my strategy this year. Maybe a little too much "seen him good" and not enough positional strategy. And of course... my goalie "plan".

I really like the look of his team - that's a deep group of offensive players with a number of potential breakout stars.

I took more "risks" this year than I usually do. Every year I have one guy who I'm pretty much certain will crack 10 points. I'd like to think Galchenyuk will this year but he's not a lock. I have a number of players who could put up huge numbers (Gaudreau, Hertl etc.) but I could just as easily see those guys doing very little.

I actually really like your team Soli. The annoying thing is that if Barkov breaks out for me, Lehkonen will likely do the same for you.

I think Galchenyuk will disappoint you this tournament, but IMO Barkov will carry the mail for your team. This is his coming out party to the rest of the hockey world.

I'm glad it annoys you that I took Lehkonen... MUAHAHAHAH.

I like my team. Although I have this strong feeling that the USA is going to get spanked again...

Thanks for adding my team!

I don't know how I feel about my team. I like my multiculturalism, but I don't envision a way I win, since the success of my guys is connected to bigger names you guys own.

I don't think I'll be last though.

Have fun everyone!

And Soli and Cerebral jumps out to an early lead with Lehkonen scoring the first goal of the tourny assisted by Pokka.

And Ristolainen's assist on the 2-1 FIN goal puts me alone atop the standings! Wooot!

EDIT: Aaltonen with his 2nd. Undrafted. Atleast my boy Armia set him up.

I had a good start with Wikstrand and Pokka but Bartosak not getting the start for the Czechs could be devastating! I also was expecting a big game out of Barkov against a fairly weak opponent. I need Galchenyuk to have a huge game tomorrow.

6 points in day 1, but after how Subban played against Germany I am not sure he will get another start

11 points in the first day. I'm no Soli, but I try.

No huge stand outs (maybe Strome and Drouin), but contributions from everyone in the line up pretty much.

I don't think my goalie will start all of the games for Russia though, but hopefully he becomes the starter and they go to the Gold medal game on Yakupov's back.

I hope Binnigton starts or Subban gets better, because fantasy aside, I want Canada to win.

Morgan Rielly was never credited with an assist.
