Some people will, some people won't. I know we get to have this debate a lot about Pulkkinen over on the Wings board, where a lot of us remember that he did most of his damage against the lesser teams or once games were out of hand. But there is still a decent crowd you are right that just goes with the end number as the be all end all in the arguments about him.

Seriouse or sarcasm? Why would he be. It's not hes job to care what the fans think about that, I bet he couldn't care less, why would he? This is what happens when a team full of great players is plays bad at wrong point, and is dropped to relegation round. I think they must play all the games even if they drop, end of the story. Would be ridiculous to go to the ice do nothing in the national team jersey. And what kind of player does not want to score when he is playing hockey, no matter what pond game it is??

Hey, slovakia scored a goal. 6-1

Well, hopefully this will give a bit of confidence to him for the rest of the season.
Are you clowns for real? Armia has had a solid tournament to this point. But now since he's adding to his really good numbers with a really offensive game, he's going to get piled on? What's he supposed to be doing? Sitting on the bench slitting his wrists? You're like the moron at work on Monday morning who says something like "Yeah, that running back's 200 yard game really wasn't all that good. If you take away the two 65-yard plays he had, he was pretty ordinary..."

For god sakes people.

No, but he shouldn't get too much credit for winning the scoring-title either.

Again, the relegation-round should have it's own scoring table.

Forgot that you should always put the sarcasm-smiley at the end. Thought it was obvious since I'm a huge fan of the guy.

Difference is playing those teams twice - not just once.

We all know that Armia doesen't have chance for mvp or all-star awards because he plays in relegation round.

It's suprising that Armia who is stated as sluggish player (i'm one of them) puts nice effort in meaningless games. Gotta give some credit for him.

Solid tournament? In what way? Armia has been one of our worst players and biggest dissappointments if u dont count the game against Sweden.

Playing Japan is like playing Latvia atleast 2 times..

Edit: Just to clarify I'm not saying Armia should be mvp or deserves the scoring title. He didn't even had that good of a tournament. All I'm saying when people look stats 5 years from now nobody cares how they came.

Why is that, exactly? Should we remove the 2 points RNH got vs slovokia too? How about the 5 points he got against a horrendous Germany team?

In the NHL - should we not count all the points that Crosby gets playing against teams at the end of the season who have already been eliminated from the playoffs?

So he should miss the net when the chances come all the time? Dont be ridiculous dude.. He was already good before these games.

Slovakia should reeaaaallly be ashamed, they have scored already 3 goals in game like this!

6-3

Edit:

Screw the RNH. He hasn't been that impressive, i waited him to play like NHL star but he aint that much better than the rest.

I replied to your post, but my comment was more the result of a few of the Canadian clowns who preceded your post.

No, not the first time. But can you imagine how many points he would get if he played those teams one more time? Of course the points should count if he plays them in the regular tournament.

You bring up another good point.... We should also deduct 40% of Ovechkin's points, annually, since he plays in the worst NHL division and faces the crappy teams more than anyone else...

Just go away, you're wrong about this. If they are forced to play hockey, they play hockey. Doesn't matter how much you cry, hockey is what they do and if they have a chance, they will try to score. It's not like their goal was to be on relegation round to play these games.

You're just sad because that RNH (who cares about him) doesn't win the title. Maybe they should've lost on purpose and go to relegation round to win it, because he cant do it otherwise.
