Connelly might be more adept at handling the pressure of NHL than say a POS Scandella

To give you an idea... Palmieri COULD NOT play in AHL Houston and have an NHL contract WITHOUT clearing waivers at least at the start of the NHL season.

Ok... back to topic... I think this was my last suggestion...

Parise-Koivu-Bouchard
Heatley-Granlund-Coyle
Cullen-Brodziak-Setoguchi
Powe/Mitchell-Konopka-Clutterbuck

Scandella Prosser Stoner are all AHL defense. The Wild are hurting for blueliners. A trade is in order. We have a surplus in offence.(I never thought I'd say that a about the Wild). We need to trade a Coyle Zucker Graovac for a blue liner

Nothing has changed Talon. You are still Mad. How do you see Coyle on line 2?

Simply because Coyle will not be called up to play anything less than 1st or 2nd line right now... period.

Coyle needs time on the 4th line to adapt

You're nuts....really.....our top 4 defense is more than adequate once Spurgeon is healthy.

Your asking a lot of the youngsters Talon. I still remember your rants on how Bouchard was the next superstar. I hope Coyle pans out. I do. He certainly cant be worse than Granlund.

You don't remember my rants at all then, as I never called Bouchard the next superstar.

Though I remember yours well... saying if the Wild didn't have Dupuis on their roster he'd be out of the NHL completely "No Stanley Cup Contender would have a player like Dupuis on their roster"... go figure how he's had nothing but success since he left the Wild and now has his name on the cup.

Not to change the subject. But if you want to give me a hockey hard on, Jonas Brodin is it. To compare him to Niklas Lidsrtom is unfair. but just.

In a sea of Bouchard haters you always stood by him.

Wow... it's amazing how you can completely reverse history. It was a sea of Bouchard lovers I was one of the few to bash him... and these days I'm indifferent on his game... he doesn't have all the same weaknesses he used to and is much more assertive.

I'm neither high nor low on his game as is.

I doubt Konopka comes out of the lineup. He provides good toughness and is great in the circle. I also doubt the only change to the 3rd line is Clutterbuck and Bouchard swapping wing positions.

Why would we bring up Coyle and put him on the 4th line. Just pointless
