I'm a member of the PC party here in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Signed up for the Liberal People's Party two years ago, never paid my membership fee and never attended any meetings though so I've never really been a member.

In the past I've been a member of both the Ontario and federal Conservative parties, but have let both lapse at the moment. The provincial because I'm not a fan of Hudak and they currently lack any defining vision or platform, and federally because they annoyed me to no end with constant calls for contributions.

A few years ago my brother got signed up to the Liberal party without his knowledge when a family friend was running for them (and won) here in Toronto. Apparently they just needed to inflate the membership numbers, so someone paid for the memberships of anyone they could think of. He is in no way a Liberal, btw.

I'm not one to go to meetings or rally around causes. I'm the guy who, during homecoming, would look around at the masses and rhetorically ask, "Really?"

That said, I'd probably most closely be aligned with the Bull Moose party, if it wasn't simply relegated to novelty status.

Registered Republican in 07 to vote for Ron Paul in the primaries. Voted for Chuck Baldwin in the general election and was a member of the Constitution Party till 2011, when I re-registered Republican to again vote for Ron Paul in the primaries. Wrote him in in November.

Why the Constitution Party and not the Libertarian Party if you're such a Ron Paul advocate?

Paul was part of the Libertarians before he joined the Republicans.

No, seriously, I'm actually interested.
