Finally, some more live hockey.

Sunday is Antero Niittymaki bobblehead night. There's even a lame commercial to go with it. Now we know why Niitty is a hockey player and not an actor.

Sim with the natural hat trick.

Fedoruk with a couple of assists.

3-1 Phantoms midway through.

Sim has been amazing. If there was an NHL he would be there for at least 60+ games. He had a good year last year.

Yeah.

I'm suprised they got Niittymaki to do a commercial. He not much of a personality, at least back in Finland. He was always one of the quiet guys. Guess he found out what Philadelphia is all about.

Wasn't he nothing more than a 4th liner?

So what's the deal with these players on loan/exchange? When the lockout is over, is it likely that the teams will actually execute transactions based on the loaned players or will most of them just return to their old teams?

Well, when you're property of the Kings, chances are you're either going to get hurt or you're going to get a shot to see what you can do. Sim was relatively productive in his time with the Kings that when everyone came back, he was a victum of numbers and got claimed off waivers.

Not necessarily. They're essentially trades between 2 AHL teams that last for the rest of that season. However, Sim is still property of the Coyotes. He would have to be traded for if the Flyers want him on their team.
