Salary under lock out

What happens with salary's for 28ish old players on one way contracts, like i.e. Anaheim's Jeff Deslauriers ,when signed down to Norfolk Admirals?

Does he recieve his full NHL salary when playing in the minors?

He has been a pro Goalie for nine years
He has appeared in 62 career NHL games
He has appeared in 188 career American Hockey League games
He has appeared in 17 career ECHL games. That is a total of 267 pro games.

And now The Admirals have signed him to an Professional Tryout Contract!

Is this like a lope hole or circumvention, or did he have to negotiate for his salary and other conditions like a player signing in Europe?

Just curious

As a locked out player, his NHL contract is "worthless".

He'll get whatever $$s is agreed to under the PTO.

Once the lockout is lifted and things go back, his PTO will be voided and his NHL deal back in effect.

(Assuming that's how transition rules are.)
