Holy Jesus I hadn't even made that connection. This all but cements us taking Nassib, and that ain't no joke.

Heck, I think a DE is an option if one slips.

Just not a QB at 8. Please.
I think it's a foregone conclusion that we'll be picking one of Te'o, Minter, Mingo or Jones at #8, and one of Smith, Barkley, Wilson, Nassib, Glennon at #41.

Well it does bring up questions. No doubt he had a good year but the competition was also weak. Before this season much wasn't beng made of him. But, it wasn't just him either, they missed a lot of easy tackles as a team.

I've seen you make the weak strength of schedule argument before and it's a bunch of ****. ND had one of the hardest schedules in all of football, hell at the beginning of the year many experts thought they had the toughest schedule of any team. The national championship game was certainly an embarassment for T'eo and ND and it showed they don't have anywhere near the talent that Bama has, and quite frankly Kelly got outcoached by the best coach in college football, no surprise there. They knew how to take ND's best player out of the game and they did it. All of this shouldn't change the fact that T'eo had a fantastic year (coming in 2nd for the heisman as a LB is incredible) and is still a fantastic NFL prospect.

I'm not going down that road again. The schedule didn't play out as expected. All i'm saying is that was easily far and away the best opponent they played and Te'o was bad. Te'o did much of his dirty work against not so great teams, thats a fact. Nobody had even talked about Te'o before this year and Octoberish.

This is a great game.

Peyton is making the commentators who doubted he could even make the playoffs look foolish

Whether you like Flacco or not...it sure must be nice to have a QB who can throw the football 40-50 yards downfield and at least give you a shot for a long completion.

That was the worst attempt at defense I've ever seen in my life. Moore should just quit football after that display.

My god...John Fox is an idiot.

That was a Jauron-esque decision. 31 seconds with Peyton ****ing Manning and 2 timeouts...and you kneel...

So glad we didn't get that Denver OC. Not impressed at all with him this game.

That was also moronic. I like Fox, but that was just a terrible call.
