Looking at the other head coaching hires ( Chud, Arians, Trestman, McCoy, ) I am more and more delighted with the hiring of Marrone. He may very well turn out to be the best hiring this off-season, I have a feeling Chip Kelly is going to fail miserably.
QB: Wilson, Glennon, Nassib
WR: Allen, Patterson
OLB: Mingo, Jones
ILB: Te'o, Ogletree
Haven't seen one that gives us Milliner, although I think he might end up being the best value at the pick.
I'd love Milliner at that point.
Though at this point I'd love if they traded back and grabbed one of Nassib, Wilson, Te'O, or Ogletree later and pick up another pick. None of those guys are worth 8th overall but all would be a good pick later in the 1st to fill a position of need.
Who do you guys think the Bills have their eye on for our first round pick? I've seen like 3 mocks that have us reaching hard for Glennon, and that makes me nervous.
I'm not an expert by any means, but having recently watched tape of the QB's in this draft class, I think Glennon is easily the best one.
He's a natural at throwing the football, and he stays cool and calm under pressure (both situational and pass rush). Those are things you can't teach. His stats suffered because his receivers dropped a ton of passes.
He does stare down his targets too much, but that can be corrected.
As more and more information is coming out about this T'eo thing, it's looking like it's very possible he knew nothing about it. Just goes to show why you shouldn't jump to conclusions. Still have no problem with the bills drafting him at 8. I'm curious what this whole fiasco ends up doing to his draft position though.
