Question about Tim Thomas trade rumors from a couple years ago

Hello Bruins fans, With Luongo talk heating up, I was just curious as to what was on the table for Thomas that year before your cup run, were there any definitive teams and/or offers or just tire kicking?

Thomas was being shopped for Jeff Carter but the Flyers never pulled the trigger.

If that's true the flyers should of pulled the trigger on the Carter for Thomas deal.

I don't think Thomas DID say no. There was that interview with his parents after the Cup win, where they mentioned that they thought Timmy was moving for sure. I think the B's nailed that coffin shut when they didn't get what they were looking for. Or (for that matter) it was a team effort between Chia and Homlgren.
