Jay Feaster :shakehead

Watching Hockey Central at Noon interview Jay Feaster.

This guy is hilarious. Apparently, their new 'motto' this year is 'NO EXCUSES'.

Hmm, excuse me Jay but weren't you the guy saying you couldn't make the playoffs last year because Blair Jones was injured??

So guys, need some fantasy advice. Doing a H2H League right now and I have Ward, Elliot, and Rask for goalies. It's weekly roster changes, so with that in mind would you rather have Elliot or Holtby? Elliot will get better stats but will be questionable if he plays at least once a week.

I figure Rask will play at least 2 games a week, so as long as Elliot plays one a week he would be fine

Realistic prediction.

Q: You have one of the best beards in the NHL. How long have you grown it for?

A: It has been almost six months and I donít plan on shaving it so we will see how long it gets. I am hoping to make it a full year. Hopefully, we will be in the Cup and I will have a year-long beard.

DirecTV's website says it will be available for purchase on Saturday, that things are still being worked out?

I'm already getting 11 games on TV so I see no reason to buy it.

For 37 other games I suspect. And 700 other games from other teams.

People who drink moderately live longer than people that abstain completely from alcohol

Anyway, I have a fantasy draft tonight so I figured I'd have another draft to go with it!

I'd never judge hahaha. Actually, I went out last night for beers because there's a place that has great drafts for $2 and $3 on Tuesday nights. I don't think it's going to make me live longer, but I did learn to look up beers I've never heard of, lest I find myself with 16oz of passionfruit white beer to choke down.

Never drink fruit beer! EVER!
I drink on Tuesdays, too. Buddies have beer league hockey games Tuesdays so it's a given that beers will be had after.

I couldn't imagine a beer called 5 Rabbit 5 Lizard had fruit in it. Yet it did. It was my one beerstake out of 7.

They are usually abhorrent. A lambic is nice once in a while, and there's a green apple one from Quebec called Ephemere that is pretty tasty. I have to be in the mood though. Like wearing mom jeans and watching Friends reruns.

Friday is the wife's birthday, saturday we were supposed to go with her sister to some dinner thing where they have a murder mystery thing the patrons participate in. Sounds dumb to me but I have to go, so whatever.

I've now got it twisted so that that is taking place NEXT Saturday, we're going to the "Real Sports bar" (Owned by MLSE, 100 televisions, one 60 foot screen) instead in the mid to late afternoon to catch some of the early games of the day for opening night, and then getting home early enough to watch the Avs play at home.

I've done well. Happy Birthday to me..I mean her.
