Yep, it means Gally will play the 1 period on the line of plekanecs... and for the second period, i suppose he will play center on the 3 line (Eller-Gally-Moen)!!!
Nice. Likely to see how he works on a line with Plekanec and Gionta - indicating that could be the 2nd line come Saturday night - and also a glance into his play down the middle. Not only face-offs, but defensive responsibilities. If he can keep up and play well, he'll impress Therrien enough to get a 5-game stint, at the very least. Here's to hoping, anyways...

I went for a walk yesterday and they don't have any Gally jerseys or t-shirts. I don't know if they will have any in time for the sale but as of yesterday they didn't have any
I believe you can get a custom Galchenyuk t-shirt on shop.NHL.com Since he hasn't made the team yet, you can probably add his name.
I agree with having Galchenyuk on the second line for at least a few games to see if it works out. Galchenyuk/Plekanec/Gionta could really spark some good numbers if everything goes for the best and no one gets injured.

I don't think so, but I think they will show some part of it on RDS during Hockey360, Au jeu and l'anti-chambre... Hooooooo! I think also the game will be at 98.5 fm (not sure on this one).

I gotta say, I really like these line combo's. I was worried that if Gally did make the team, they'd put him on the 4th line and he wouldn't learn anything. If he does make it and stick with the big club, there's not better linemates to have than Pleks and Gio to help him learn and become a great player. Not to mention seeing what power forwards like Patches and Cole do game in and game out to score.
I'm more inclined now with what I've heard about his camp and who his linemates would be, to leave him in the NHL, assuming he can continue to grow, than I was initially.
Hope he makes it and does well. Can't see why he wouldn't.

Agreed. They really are putting him in a perfect situation to succeed.
My jersey is ready to go! Just waiting on the official confirmation of #94, whether thats this season, next season or the one after, and then Galchenyuk is getting slapped on.

Underwhelming game tonight by Gally even though it was just a scrimmage. Looked like the last few WJC games...sure he's great in the SO, but MT made it clear he won't keep him up to be just a SO specialist.
I really don't see him being here after the 5th game...
And they did not hesitate to shot down Carey Price at the end of last year...
