At first I was really confused as to why Svehla was up there with Bure and Luongo, but then I realized that the Panthers and us shared two of the greatest forwards and goalies to play for our teams.

Thought about going that way too, Bure was definitely the more exciting/skilled player, but Henrik in his peak year was league MVP.

But you get the point, that combo is the worst out of all the teams that have been around as long as Vancouver.

The Leafs, Stars, and Rangers are the only ones that even look close. (and the defenceman still smokes Ohlund by a country mile, considering that Zubov's one great season was in Dallas).

The answer for me is Detroit because we are talking about peak. Howe's peak is significantly better than Beliveau's. The other two comparisons are close...(Plante is generally ranked over Sawchuk, but most of that reason is a longer prime...Sawchuk as an incredible 5 or so year peak, but then fades).
