Post Your Teams Opening Day Lineup

What do you think your teams lineup will look like?

If you think they'll trade for a player then include them...

For Saginaw my best guess:

Moutrey-Locke-Lodge
Alexeev-Kea-Payne
Bratina-Lindberg-Addison
Stephens-Kontos-Trafford
Extras: Sadowy

Strong-Prophet
Callaghan-Glass
Orban-Crawford
extras: Holmes/Subban or Ringuette

Paterson
Serebryakov

2013-2014 London Knights

Here is my perspective (barring no trades) on the 2013-2014 London Knights starting lineup:

Domi - Horvat - McCarron
Elie - Tierney - Anderson

M. Rupert - R. Rupert - Platzer
Pawley - Welychka - Jammes

Extras: Owen MacDonald, Ryan Hamelin

Maatta - Zadorov
Liberati - Mermis
Sefton - Centorame

Extras: Di Lorenzo, Cam Garrow,

Stolarz
Patterson
Wheaton
Hughes

Over-agers Seth Griffith (AHL), Alex Broadhurst (AHL), and Paxton Leroux (University)
(Note: These over-agers could be returned if they don't make their respective AHL teams or OHL team)
(Italics: These players will be attending their respective NHL pre-season camps, therfore will techically not be on opening day roster)

No idea what Bassin is going to do regarding trades, so here it is without trades:

Burakovsky-McDavid-Brown
Crisp-Strome-Fox
Harper-Petit-Hodgson
Betz-Evans-Wigle

Extras: Lattavo

Pelech-McDowell
Dermott-Malysa*
Abraham-Raddysh

Extras: Felker, Saban

Dansk
Williams

The Whalers still have some holes to fill, so this will probably change before the season begins. Wilson will probably not be in the opening day lineup, either, as he'll most likely be at Washington's preseason camp.

Hartman - Crus-Ryberg - Wilson
Mistele - Vilardi - Sills
Lorentz - Cairns* - Sandlak
Vanderweil - Mercer - Chatham

Extras: Lee, Yetman

Carrick - Curcuruto
Jones - Peters
Wesley - Crombeen

Extras: Henderson - Rathgeb

Nedeljkovic
Corbin

* I included a trade of Cairns from Erie for Malysa just to make erieotternews happy.

Here's Guelph. I still think a new goalie will be acquired, don't know who or what for, so I left that out.

Jason Dickinson - Robby Fabbri - Scott Kosmachuk
Brock McGinn - Hunter Garlent - Zach Mitchell
Tyler Bertuzzi - Pius Suter - Justin Auger
Marc Stevens - Ryan Horvat - Adam Craievich
Brody Milne

Matt Finn - Zac Leslie
Ben Harpur - Phil Baltisberger
Garret McFadden - Kyle Locke
Chadd Bauman

Michael Nishi
Matt Mancina

Ritchie-Tanus-Nosad
Betzold-Pierog-Cornel
Stefano-Clarke-Paulovic
Maguire-M.Webb-Hatcher

Extra F: Thompson/J.Webb

Boland-Devlin
Armstrong-Spencer
Lizotte-Seymour

Extra D: Robinson/Varga

D'Agostini
Guigovaz
(JrA) Smith

Think Smith beats out Robson for a spot.

Team needs a first line right winger to move into top 4 in the east IMO. Guys like Blandisi, Harper or Marcantuoni could be good targets.

Here's a quick look at Ottawa's potential roster for this coming season. In my opinion, despite what happened year, I believe this years 67s team will suprise a lot of people. Assuming Monahan is returned, I feel they may even contend for home ice advantage when all is said and done. But obviously a lot can change if Monahan isnt returned. Should be an interesring year.
I left out a few guys who I feel will most likely be traded away or released before the end of training camp (Walsh, Bell, Desautels and possibly Guy).

Home ice advantage? I dont mean to be a dick here, but that is a pretty generous projection, even with Monahan back. I agree that Ottawa is not going to be the cellar-dweller it seems that everyone expects, but the east is going to be competitive this year. With Monahan back I wouldnt expect more than 6th.

Goalies can't stop a freaking Beach ball, so it really doesn't matter unless they make a trade.....

Bourne - Smoskowitz - Burnside
MacIntyre - Babinstev - Rasulov
Cobbold - Foy - Gerhart
Barwell - Kopstals - Venuto

Extras: Goldberg, Clark, Doef, Duhaime

Carrick - Day
Diodati - Welsh
Zottl - Bell

Extras: Graves, DiTomaso

I don't think Carrick or Martin will get invites to Carolinas and Colorado's main training camp so they should be there.

I like the lines but having McDowell, Abraham, Fox, and Malysa is not possible. That is 4 oa's so with that being the case I would assume most would replace Abraham with Malysa.
Also I am probably looking way to much into this but technically for opening day Hodgson will not be suiting up for the first two or three games.
When he is back in the line up that's what I see the lines looking like if Burakovsky does sign. Even though I like Burakovsky-McDavid-Crisp better at the moment.

Yeah I originally didnt have Malysa in the lineup, but then the plymouth fan mentioned the trade, so I edited my statement and put malysa in, and forgot to take abraham out. I could also see us trade for Basso from Sarnia, Bassin said yesterday he's looking to add a "high-end pucking moving D". And I agree, I like Crisp better on that line but Brown will probably play there.

Personally I like the thought of Basso better because he is a good puck mover. I would rather them acquire an 18/19 year old that will still be here for the next season though. Maybe the price would be to high for that.

Don't know how "high-end" he is but rumours have Steele from Kingston on the move, could this be his destination?

I too would like to see basso here. He would fit in well i think, maybe play him with Dermott, with Pelech-McDowell as the top pairing. Wouldnt be the greatest top 4 in the world but I think our defense would be better. I think the price would be a bit too high for a high end D that isnt an overager. Plus, I think we have our overagers filled for next season anyways with Crisp, Brown, and Pelech.

I think I have mentioned it here before but I think Jesse Graham is going from Niagara to Erie. Dave Brown loves Jesse (drafted him in the first round, when he was projected as a 2nd rounder), and he is one of the better puck moving D in the league. He is also 19 and will no doubt be back for an OA season.
I would guess Harper or Crisp would be the return. Niagara could use another winger that can score and they do have a couple OA spots available.
